We had Amazing stay for 4th of July weekend at Hyatt House Energy Corridor. Before coming to this hotel we had mixed feelings because it seemed the only thing to look forward to was breakfast… But anyone who stays at quality hotels will know it’s the front desk and first impression that makes the difference and sets the tone of a hotel stay. When I entered and was checked in by Lesly, the warm greeting, friendly smile, helpful and outgoing personality gave me a 5 star feeling at the door. Whenever we left the hotel and returned we were greeted by that same kind word and friendly smile. When I needed help understanding how to connect a device to the Internet and later to borrow an item I needed in the room, she was right there! Lesly represented the HYATT kind of service I usually get at Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Hill Country Resort. Rooms are nice, a bit dated but very clean with kitchens and a full fridge. Housekeeping was nice, Breakfast was good, especially the omelets and whenever the breakfast staff looked up from their phones they were very friendly too. And I get it…. there were not many at breakfast but I would’ve still given this place 10 stars even without breakfast. I was guessing many of the other guests felt so happy from check in and after experiencing quality service from Lesly and the other staff of this property they decided to relax & sleep in late:-) I agree with those who say it’s the staff here that make the place so darn good. Now whenever I use my Visa Credit Card with the HYATT logo on the front I’m reminded of how I felt when I stayed at this hotel. To the HYATT Corporate Offices: “I do like Embassy Suites, but It’s people like Lesly that keep me coming back to HYATT Hotels and make me proud to be a member. Feel free to contact me about how to tweak the new Hyatt Rewards Program that lowered my status... but when it comes to the kind of people you hire, Don’t Change Anything!! Because when you change that...I’m Gone. This staff and people like Lesly represent the quality of the management team at this property and together they define exactly what the HYATT name means and what I expect, when I see HYATT”…
Room and breakfast was good. Almost double the normal pet deposit of competing hotels. Pet deposit was almost as much as the room itself. 25-40 is reasonable. 75 for a $90 room is not. ac vents also broken and aimed directly at pillow.
The rooms were not cleaned before I showed up. There was a towel left on the floor, trash still in the trash cans and somebody’s bar soap was left in the shower. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
Very clean, comes with cooktop, microwave, full refrig and dishes. Everything you need for an extended stay. Very nice. I would stay here again. There are few places with as many amenities in the room.
Great place with friendly staff. Just of the highway. Quiet and serene atmosphere with a large yard. The staff is very polite and accommodating. They happily accepted my request for a late checkout at no additional cost.
