I normally don't write reviews, but after the experience my friends and I had here for my birthday, I had to write one and I wish I had known about this place and their spa sooner. First and foremost, while the historical looking hotel is great and the service was fantastic, the amenity and service that stood out the most was the spa. It's intimate and immaculately kept and the service reflected that, being customized to our preferences perfectly. Carol, the spa manager, was nothing less than amazing! She was patient and accommodating, with any last minute changes and requests being taken care of without issue and with such a friendly demeanor! We had several requests and needs and she was able to ensure it all happened seamlessly. Even better, it was the absolute best massage we all had ever had; this coming from someone that has higher standards than most when it comes to spas, given that I've been to more than I can count. I'm ecstatic to have found a fantastic spa and am really glad that my colleague recommended her; I can see why she came so highly recommended. Oh, and the pool was perfect! It's on the second floor, so it feels nice and tucked away from everything else so there's no bothering foot traffic or other facilities that hinder it. This was the most memorable event we have had in a long time and we can't wait to celebrate again for another event, and definitely for the next birthday!

From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent. From the doorman, front desk and maid service. The room was immaculate and so very comfortable. The pool area was great with just enough chairs so it wasn’t crowded. The breakfast was outstanding. We didn’t have enough time for the afternoon Tea, but definitely next time!! Thank you for making my “big” birthday very special and memorable

The hotel is old, outdated. It needs urgent renovation in a growing market. Bathrooms are from the 80's. That's a pity for such a nice brand. Staff is nice. Breakfast quality is poor. Area is quite. You can find nice dinning area 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

I think everything was just average for the price of a deluxe room for one night. I've been to many luxury hotels around the world and this room was pretty shabby. The pillows had feathers sticking out and bed was lumpy. The furniture was worn out and over used. The hotel was pretty dim in all the common areas. The shower's water pressure was nice. The staff was okay, but not very helpful. I asked for tea when I arrived and I waited for about an hour but it never came up. I went down to the butler and they never ordered it. So I went to the Remington restaurant in the hotel instead. It very dark in the restaurant and loud because of drunk wedding guests at the bar. There weren't many dinner guests. The shrimp tacos were very good, but the duck dish was average. The was something that looked like a roach dropping on my bread plate. The service was good. The valet service took my ticket and brought me the wrong car. I had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct car. I tried to book a spa appointment before my visit, but I only received a call back on the day of my visit, after the spa closed. The spa manager tried to get me an appointment before I left, but by then there were no openings. I tried to attend afternoon tea on Friday and Saturday, but it was fully booked online. I asked if I could have afternoon tea in my room and they declined. I was disappointed because at every luxury hotel I've been to that serves afternoon tea, they also serve it to the guests in their rooms if its requested. So basically, it was a pretty boring experience. It definitely wasn't worth the price. It's seems like a hotel that uses the prestige of the St. Regis name to reel guests in, but its just an average 3 star hotel.

Had a wonderful weekend at the St. Regis. We were in town over Mother's Day weekend for multiple reasons and stayed at the St. Regis. It was a beautiful hotel and the staff couldn't be more helpful. In particular, the Valets were so nice and helpful. Some things in the rooms need to be updated, some of the wallpapers is peeling or bulging and the door had a big mark on it where obviously at some point they'd had to get through the lock, just needs to be painted. But the small things did not hurt the fantastic time we had and the way the hotel was so beautiful.

Awesome hotel! Everything was amazing! From the moment we arrived on the property, until we left, we were delighted! Our room was large and very nice….comfy bed, spacious bathroom and a seating area! The aroma, when entering the hotel , was delightful! Every staff member we encountered made you feel welcome! The Remington Bar was great…tasty drinks and the bartender was awesome….very personable and very attentive! We will be back!

The St Regis Houston was nice - they upgraded me to an Astor Suite - but overall had the sense that there are some areas of improvement: 1. The facilities are a little outdated - the astor suite is large, but not very well-lit. I think the rooms just need renovations / updating. The details are good - very nice/large bathroom with a good bathtub, nice large King bed, and a large living room. 2. Room service is a little less than satisfying - the items were not very well-prepared. I dined out on most evenings, so this is more about breakfast 3. Gym is quite small / old 4. Hotel lobby / common areas are nicely decorated, but also need updating Overall - I think the St. Regis Houston needs to go through a renovation to match the 2022 standards of luxury hotels - especially given it is a St Regis!

The tea party is really a good addition to consider if you are staying here. The property is very nice on all measures. Attractive and well located. This is not a cheap place, but then you do get that for which you pay!

There are truly no words that can explain the way I feel about The St. Regis in Houston. What makes a hotel is not only the actual hotel itself, it’s the people. The amazing, wonderful kind people that go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. It’s people like Samantha Cosani in particular. My husband and I have been staying at the St. Regis in Houston for 12 years now. It’s our spot. 🥰 We have celebrated our anniversary, birthdays, just a random date night and most importantly the night before his brain tumor surgery. This is our home in Houston. We are treated with such respect and love and it does not go unnoticed. The fresh flowers in the entry, the stunning arrangements in the check in…. All of the small details that are put into everything you do makes you who you are. We had the pleasure of staying in the State Suite. And wow! What a state it was. It was perfection. All thanks to Samantha for making it happen for my birthday. We (my husband and I, my mom and my girls) were treated like royalty. THANK YOU! Thank you for who y’all are. Thank you for what you do. Thank you from the ends of the Earth for being just kind, amazing humans who care for others. Remarkable job to everyone who makes everything run so smoothly daily. It takes a team.
