Loved the elegance and class of this property. The location is great. From check in to check out, every staff person we encountered was friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was ultra comfy. Thumbs up to the front desk, concierge and the waiter at the restaurant.

My husband and I just stayed for 3 days and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is lovely and the service was great. We had the pleasure of meeting Nicole Pacillas , concierge who really went above and beyond to make our trip great! Also the bell boy John was a pleasure and very helpful! The room was comfortable and clean, front desk staff excellent! The only negative was the house car driver. He really was grumpy and it was awkward when we needed a ride.... he made us uncomfortable. He really made it obvious he did not want to drive us anywhere. Other than that everything was wonderful.

We arrived early at the hotel, so we understood that our room was not ready. We went out for lunch and came back and waited in the bar. The desk clerk and the concierge kept checking with us and apologizing that our room was not ready even though it was only 2pm. They ended up accommodating us beautifully. Tina in the restaurant deserves extra kudos for a job well done. The hotel is gorgeous and so peaceful, I didn't want to leave it to go out and tour Houston.

If St. Regis Houston was categorized as a 4-star hotel, then I would have rated them with five points; however as a 5-star hotel, they didn’t live up to the standards one expects from the St. Regis brand or a 5-star hotel. Our overall experience was very good but the level of service varied from person to person (totally inconsistent, with some hotel staff being incredible while others gave us attitude) and general hotel amenities were really on par with a 4-star hotel. Again, overall, our experience was nice, but the few bad apples working there makes it hard to rate them with the full five points.

We recently stayed here for a few days on business. Nicole is FANTASTIC! She was so friendly and helped us with concierge matters as well as general questions. You definitely are pampered at this hotel. Turn-down service, butler service...they don’t miss a beat. Our bellman John was fun too with great ideas as well. Bar a bit loud as we were on the 4th floor when live music was playing. The Remington staff was great. Unfortunately an item was lost between the check-in and room delivery....and not much within walking distance...fortunately they have complimentary car service. Would stay again!
