There are truly no words that can explain the way I feel about The St. Regis in Houston. What makes a hotel is not only the actual hotel itself, it’s the people. The amazing, wonderful kind people that go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. It’s people like Samantha Cosani in particular. My husband and I have been staying at the St. Regis in Houston for 12 years now. It’s our spot. 🥰 We have celebrated our anniversary, birthdays, just a random date night and most importantly the night before his brain tumor surgery. This is our home in Houston. We are treated with such respect and love and it does not go unnoticed. The fresh flowers in the entry, the stunning arrangements in the check in…. All of the small details that are put into everything you do makes you who you are. We had the pleasure of staying in the State Suite. And wow! What a state it was. It was perfection. All thanks to Samantha for making it happen for my birthday. We (my husband and I, my mom and my girls) were treated like royalty. THANK YOU! Thank you for who y’all are. Thank you for what you do. Thank you from the ends of the Earth for being just kind, amazing humans who care for others. Remarkable job to everyone who makes everything run so smoothly daily. It takes a team.

I was in town on business and stayed one night at the Regis. The front desk staff was awesome, I was a weary traveler. Room service sent up a perfectly gorgeous amenity plate with champagne, fruit, and a chocolate designed state of Texas. Yummy! The bed was super comfortable and it was very quiet, wonderful night. Also, the location is perfect for tourists that want to walk around a great area.

The front desk was super friendly. The hotel is dated, rooms are nice and clean however look a bit tired. Depending on the location of the room, it can be quiet. Dinner was nothing great, breakfast a bit better.

Stayed here for 3 nights the first time in years on a recent 3 night trip back to Houston. The front desk staff were great, friendly and efficient but the hotel itself is in desperate need of updating. The room (Astor Suite) was noticeably dated and dark, very small bathroom counters, tiny shower and lacking in plugs for electronics in the living room. We went to get a drink at the Remington after dinner (on a Saturday and also a Sunday) and it was just sad... no one was in there except for us, we just got wine and a cheese plate was decent enough but there were a few almonds thrown on it which were completely inedible and stale. The waiter was wonderful and so friendly but the place just felt sad, dated and forgotten. The staff are great, the location is fantastic, but if it wants to compete or even keep up, it just needs some money re-invested into it to update it and modernize it.

The hotel is truly run down. The rooms are gloomy and sad. The furniture old and run down. The bathrooms unpleasant and also rundown The bathtub is also used as a shower, but the shower head is so low that you can’t wash your hair. Would never come back. They use the name of St Regis to lure you in but does not live up to its name
