This hotel is no-frills. Ideal if your flight schedule has shifted and you have to stay overnight in Dallas. Otherwise, there is absolutely no reason to stay there. It's clean, and the staff is responsive at check-in.
Super friendly staff from check in to check out. Rooms were super clean and well appointed. The courtesy shuttle to and from airline gates was prompt and super courteous. Will definitely be staying here on our next trip to DFW.
This is a hotel and conference center as it should be. The bar is set here. From a family vacation to conference/convention the people of this property provide unexpectedly personal service that exceeds any expectation.
The hotel itself is nice, serviceable especially if your company is the one paying for it. If you are paying for it yourself, I would recommend looking somewhere else and spend the money that you save on renting a car or something like that.
The staff (Steven) was very helpful in getting us a room at the last minute due to missing a connection on American. The missed connection was due to AA not unloading our priority bags in time to make the connection.
This hotel is a great option for on airport needs. I had a clean and comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and the property was in good condition. The food service leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurants need more staff and extended hours. There are not 24/7 food options, which is disappointing for an airport hotel.
My visit was short as this was a business meeting. I was greeted with a smile, my room was ready and uncomplicated. I was going to my room and was greeted by the housekeeper once again with smile and she asked if I needed any help. My room was spotless. The shower had wonderful water pressure and the air conditioning worked remarkably well-super cool. The TV was huge and truly appreciated that little luxury as well. The room had blackout curtains that allowed for a quick nap before the start of my meeting. I loved the desk in my room that was able to be expanded to hold my computer and papers. There was ample room in the closet and hangers were abundant. There was a nice coffeemake with the option for coffee or tea-with the accoutrements of wrapped cups/sugar/sweetener, always a welcome addition. I prefer half and half but that is picky. Water bottles were available, free for members or 4.00 per bottle otherwise. I additionally liked that there was a microwave that was super clean mid hall by the ice maker. I happened to have brought a coffee and I stopped to reheat it.It was quite a handy addition. The bed was super comfy and did not have a bedspread. I thought that was a great idea because you could see how spotless the bed was and safe. The pillows were just right. The next day, once again the shower was warm and great water pressure. Checkout was a breeze on the TV. After the meeting there was no pressure to exit the meeting area which was nice because we had delayed flights. Once in the lobby we were offered bottles of water as we waited to leave. There were lots of folks all over yet the place ran very smoothly. The shuttle service was without incident as well and the driver friendly. I was pleasantly surprised and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.…
From daily cucumber or fruit infused ice water by the front desk, to super comfy and clean beds, to staff that actually cares about their guests, I was absolutely blown away by my experience at this hotel. Since Covid has taken a huge toll on the hospitality industry, I have had terrible experiences elsewhere at hotels, but not here! At this Hyatt, I felt like a VIP every day just because I signed up online to be a rewards member and received free drip coffee and bottled water whenever I wanted it! Plus they had two Peletons in the fitness center so I looked forward to working out. The rooms were also very reasonably priced for the space/condition. I can't recommend this hotel enough!
Everyone is very friendly and professional, and dedicated to making sure the stay is a success. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained and the food is very good. Any special requests or needs are handled right away every time.
Needed a last minute booking at DFW. My preference would have been the Grand Hyatt but there prices were about $400/night. The Hyatt DFW wasn't much cheaper. I think the Grand is a bit much on points also at 20k. Luckily, the DFW Hyatt is a more reasonable 8K making it the obvious choice for us on this short one night stay. We were due to get in at about 9PM but due to flight difficulties we ended up getting in closer to 1AM. We made the 5 minute walk from terminal C to through the parking garages and after about 5 minutes of a pretty straight walk with a few small ups and downs we were at the front desk. I noticed on the app that our room had changed to an ADA room. I wasn't even going to ask about a Globalist upgrade due to the short stay. Check in was pretty friendly and professional even at this late hour. The hotel is definitely dated in the common areas but the room had a relatively modern decor and was nice....for an airport property. The ADA room actually was quite spacious. My only issue with it was that the shower wand did not adjust higher than 5ft so you either used strictly as a wand or if you wanted to use it in the standard shower position and weren't less than 5ft you needed to stoop down. Also, given the design of the shower water leaked out of the shower very easily. The room itself was really spacious. On quibble would be that I always put in my reservation that I do not want a connecting room. It was a connecting room which I do not care for. In this case, it was amazing how much space was at the bottom of the door and the amount of light that was shining through. I am guessing nobody was in the room though which is why the light was on all night. The bed slept fine but found it odd that there was three pillows on the bed instead of either 2 or 4. Drug one out out of the closet to even things out between the two of us. Globalist breakfast was buffet or menu. The quality and selection was pretty good but found the servers friendly but never available. This despite there seeming to be plenty of people for the relatively small amount of tables. There was someone walking around in a suit that I presumed was a manager but they didn't really seem to be managing anything. They were nice enough though. The shuttle the next morning was on time and well prepared the the number of people heading to the airport. They actually had two shuttles and split up based on the terminals. For 8k in points, I am ok with what we got. If I had paid $350 for the night, would not have been. …
