The hosts greeted me like family and did everything to make my Independence Day weekend truly enjoyable! Breakfast was tasty and exactly on time. The bed was really comfortable. I stayed in the separate bungalow so there were no extra noises! I’d recommend they innkeepers put a few more hooks for hanging a toiletry kit near the sink and maybe on the inside of the bathroom door for clothing or pajamas.
Great B&B in Granbury! Walking distance from town square. We were greeted at the door when we arrived and was given a quick tour. Shown to our beautiful room and we were able to relax before going out for the evening. Breakfast was wonderful the next morning. Highly recommend the Iron Horse Inn to everyone!
The owner greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the Inn. Our room was clean, large and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very nice with cinnamon rolls, egg casserole, fruit. We would stay here again.
We had a nice relaxing two day stay at this beautiful B&B. The Owner’s breakfasts on each morning were wonderful, to say the least. The Inns choice of rooms were very inviting. Highly recommend! Granbury square really fun.
My wife and I had heard about the quaint town of Granbury from a server at a local Fort Worth restaurant. We love visiting small towns and decided to investigate where to stay in Granbury. We chose the Iron Horse Inn based on reviews and we cannot express our joy of having decided to stay there. This home is historic and the owner, Julie is gracious, friendly, warm, welcoming, and a great cook to beat!! The home is a historical landmark ( as are most buildings in Granbury) and is furnished exactly as one would expect from an early 20th Century Craftsman home. The woodworking throughout the home is unbelievable and all authentic and well-kept. Each of the seven bedrooms is exquisitely furnished with the proper period furniture and one is challenged as to which room to choose. Some have sunrooms, some are just quaint. All are large and well-furnished with modern bathroom amenities. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The huge king bed we had was superbly comfortable. Now for the cherry on the cake: Julie. Whatever joy you may have visiting Granbury, Julie and her generous and warm personality will make it even better. One of the keys to this is that meeting her for the first time feels like you've known her for years as a close friend. I cannot think of a higher compliment. Please make your visit to Granbury even more enjoyable and memorable by staying at this marvelous Bed and Breakfast. We will be back!…
My two friends and I stayed an the Inn for 4 nights. The place is so beautiful and the hosts are wonderful people. Julie (the owner) and her family did everything to make our stay here memorable and incredible. The breakfast that Julie cooks every morning is to die for. We loved sitting at the big table with other guests in the beautiful dining room. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Julie went out of her way to attend to every request. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Thank you Julie and family for hosting us and for an amazing long weekend that we had at your beautiful inn.
We were given a night's stay at the Iron Horse Inn as a gift. What a beautiful property! It was very quaint, comfortable, clean, quiet and peaceful - a very restful and enjoyable evening, which was great after a very busy day. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and enjoyable, shared with the other guest staying there. I would highly recommend Iron Horse for someone looking for a restful and peaceful evening stay (or longer!)
Great Owners of this B&B make you very welcome in everyway. Not our first time here and definitely not our last. So peaceful, an easy park walk to the down town area, great entertainment at the local music/play venues in Granbury. Rooms quite ample in size and easy to relax when not roaming the city area. Breakfast is first class in this wonderful historic B&B.
Came here to celebrate our anniversary. Fantastic old home with beautiful restoration. Room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Coastal Room downstairs. Bed was extremely comfortable. Large closet and large shower in the bathroom. Wine available on check in. Breakfast was delicious. Kudos to the owners!! Highly recommend!!!!
I recommend the Iron Horse Inn over and over 1,000 + times! It is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious and clean. Everything is so soft! The towels, the linens - everything is so comfy. My husband had business meetings so he dropped me off at the Inn. I crawled into the bed for a comfortable reading session and knocked out sound asleep! Woke up feeling relaxed and totally refreshed in time to meet my husband for a wonderful dinner on the Granbury square. The owner is so sweet and nice and had fresh chocolate chip cookies waiting for us after we came in from dinner. If you like antiques and gorgeous old homes you are going to LOVE staying here!
