After four years, my wife and I returned to stay at the Nutt House Historical Hotel for an extended weekend getaway from DFW. Just like the first time, we enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel, the store underneath, and the "spirit" of the historic building. Feel free to read my first review from mid 2013. The only changes this time...

Nice place to stay, clean, met some very nice people at this B&B. Location is a plus because of walking distance to historical town square. Also close to some great eateries. Also, there are plenty of shops from antiques to modern.

Absolutely a great place to stay. They treat you like family. Very comfortable. Easily accessible to anywhere in downtown Granbury. Be sure to join the ghost tour to learn about the history. Be sure to checkout the general store at get salt water taffy!

At check-in we were greeted like we were family. Everything is explained and we were asked if there was anything else we needed. They described the shops and restaurants on the square and events going on that weekend. The rooms are original, but the baths are modern. We were very comfortable.

I love Granbury. We called the Nutt House and they were booked so we accepted a room down the street at their other B&B on Bridge Street. When we pulled up, there was a For Sale sign in the yard and the yard itself was very raggedy. We weren't even sure this was the right place. It was so we...

FIRST - this property is not the Nutt House Hotel and we do NOT want this negative review to reflect on our property. We do bookings for the Daniel Harris House but do not own or control that property. The Owner has become less able to care for the property in recent weeks because of illness and we are sorry...

Such a neat place. So much history. The location right on the square was just perfect. The staff was very helpful, the room was comfy, and we just thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend to anyone, and will stay again if I'm ever out the Granbury way in the future.

Step back in time and eat and stay at the Nutt House. Clean ,friendly staff and good home cooking . Old , no elevator , but very country charming. Right off the Courthouse Square. It a fine place to stay.

Chose this hotel as it is right in the heart of the square in Granbury so we would be able to walk to the events for the 4th of July rather than find parking, etc. Perfect location. Is an interesting, historical building but is in need of updates/cleaning. When we walked in the room smelled very musty, the carpet right...

Decided to go for a visit to Granbury. If you like historic buildings you will like this place. Owner very accommodating and nice. Brought in a full breakfast for us on a day they normally do not. I would not hesitate to go there again.

Kinda fun and kinda not. No elevator so it made our visit a little difficult. Rooms are on the second floor. Lots of antiques and lots of history. Rooms were pretty spacious. Bathroom was huge! Continental breakfast served in a basket and left on our doorstep in the wee hours. A tad bit of self serve that was not the...
