We stayed in a very nice cabin - spacious and nicely furbished room (bed very comfortable) with a shared backyard with great views of the valley. Wildcatter is basically in the middle of nowhere and they offer a few activities which I think were very expensive. Horseback riding was USD 120 for a trip. Staff is very friendly, but I... More

Really great hotel with a very nice pool area. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We did the horse riding and shooting, which was really fun. The location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which is great if you don't want to leave the ranch (there's a Walmart a couple of miles away, but nothing other than... More

We stayed in a cabin with a great view of the valley (cabins are placed in a half circle so they all have amazing views). Good breakfast with fresh berries. Nice room. Our 3 kids shouldn't have been much older (5-11) for us to have missed a bed, though. Friendly staff. Great nature, good horseback riding.

I have recently returned from two wonderful weeks at the Wildcatter with my family. This was my third visit to the ranch and as expected, it was an amazing experience. The cabins had everything we needed and the bed was the best I've ever slept in, man do I miss that bed. The staff were wonderful as always, particularly Kendra... More

This is likely the best place in Graham Texas to stay. This hotel has REAL potential but looks like someone needs to invest in the landscape, updates, premium bedding, etc. to make it first class. The cost is high for quality received. They have numerous activities that could be exceptional with greater effort to market, improve customer service, etc. They... More

This was most definitely a highlight of my visit to Texas. I fully intend on going back for a longer stay in the near future! The activities were great, horse riding, jeep tour, skeet shooting. I would recommend booking them early if you are travelling in Peak season though.

The facilities were great! We stayed in the cabins and found them quiet, well situated and nicely stocked. Wonderful views from the back porch. The breakfast was typical ranch-style buffet - a few simple choices (eggs, bacon, biscuits some fruit and cereal options) but plenty of it and very good. Dinner was EXCEPTIONAL - EVERY NIGHT!! Hands down the BEST... More

Nearly everything about this place is quality. Lovely decor, plush carpets, cozy rooms, quiet-ish. But, as many guest ranches, be aware that activities are extra. The free longhorn cattle feeding was a delight and the staff were very friendly. TIPS: 1. Bring a cooler with drinks and snacks (it's that or either (1) drive to the Walmart about 10-15 minutes... Having visited only cities over three weeks into our five week road trip Wildcatter was a great retreat for us to slow down and have a three night break. The staff are friendly enough but improved knowledge of what's available in the area would be an asset. The breakfast is adequate with fresh berries, granola, yoghurt, scrambled egg, grits, biscuits... More
