Lakefront Resort on Possum Kingdom Lake with 6 one bedroom lakefront suites with full kitchen and balcony, 12 hotel rooms, and 4 two-bedroom poolside bungalows. Guest amenities include lakefront bar & grill, beach, courtesy dock, and 3 swimming pools.
We booked a bungalow and a hotel room. Loved the bungalow less so the hotel room. The hotel room was perfectly nice and clean. But the hotel wing is where alot of people with kids stay and it is loud. Its not Lush's fault. Its the fault of parents who allow they're kids to scream run the halls and carry on after 10pm. The bungalows are beautiful and more private (also more expensive of course).There is peace and quiet to be had in bungalows although kids still make noise at the pools way too late. There are 3 gorgeous pools on the property. There is a delicious restaurant there and everything we had tasted great. We chartered a boat for a couple of hours and it was a highlight.My pictures from Lush sent to friends prompted more than one to ask what Island we were on.

We LOVED this cute little resort! We needed a weekend getaway, so we booked a Lakefront Suite and it was awesome. The third floor suites have fantastic views of the lake, it was clean, and very comfortable. We brought our boat, and loved that we were able to dock it at Lush- that was a HUGE perk for us. We dined with Lush multiple times and the food was great each time. We enjoyed our stay and can't recommend this place enough!

We came here to eat lunch during spring break. We loved it so much we decided to get a room and stay. We are about to go back again for a midweek getaway and just can’t wait. 2nd time here and it didn’t disappoint. Stayed in the 2 bedroom bungalow. It was great. 4 of us ( 2 adults 2 adult kids) lots of room. The pool is right outside the gate but the lake is why we came. Dock is in great shape, lots of slips. Food is great. Menu has more options than last year. Great location. Love the people. Not one bad thing to say. Can’t want to come back!

I rated this hotel average because of the restaurant on site. The good: The rooms at the "hotel" are very nice with well-equipped kitchen. The view from our room was exactly what I had hoped for when I registered. The 2 hour boat ride was cool and Bo was very nice and seemed to know everyone who lived on the lake. Now the bad and why 3 stars: The restaurant has a nice view of the lake but the food was fair and all their plate and dinnerware were plastic - plastic eating utensils, plastic glasses, plastic plates. Being a "resort" I expected something nicer than all plastic. The food was average. The prices were too high for the quality of the food. The alcoholic beverages i had were weak of alcohol. Again, the price seemed too much for the quality and amount of drink. No matter what you had to "drink", it came in same size glass. Would I come here again? Probably. Not because of the restaurant, but because of the rooms and views.

Thank you for review. Given our bar & grill is lakefront and poolside, there are lots of little bare feet that walk through so we have a strict no glass policy to avoid any accidents. Also, we are on septic which is why we only serve on disposable plates and plastic ware. We do serve our steak dinners on real plates. All of our drinks are served in 12oz plastic glasses and liquor is measured in 1.5oz jiggers. We serve our draft beers in 16oz cups. Glad you enjoyed your room and boat ride. Thanks G

Excellent stay for a few days during Spring Break. The owners, G and Bo really take pride in this lovely resort and work their tales off to make sure everyone has what they need. Walter up at the restaurant was really amazing. Each night he made sure the pool was heated for my wife so we could enjoy. All the staff were super friendly even though many were new this year. We cooked dinner one night on the propane grill behind the restaurant and that turned out great. The lakeside Suite was beautiful and comfortable. G helped us find the hiking trails and even have me her cell # in case we got into trouble during the hike. I highly recommend this beautiful resort if you have some time to enjoy a few days in PK.

Great burgers and fun watching the water during the summer. The hotel and RV park looks good but I've stayed there. The burgers are great and the service is good. You can buy a day pass to play in the pools but it is a great place to get off the water for lunch, they have boat and jet ski tie ups.

This place has a beautiful hotel and Georgia’s beach with a fist class marina! Nicest people including a professional chef. Great for reunions, couples and families. The hotel is worthy of five star designed interiors. Camp ground is clean and paved.

Let me start with the positives! Beautiful place, Great pools, restaurant was great, rooms were great. Bo was AMAZING! Can’t say enough good things about him. The negatives.... we got noise complaints everyday!!! We were very respectful and tried to keep the noise down. At 10 pm, we sent our kids to do something quite in the rooms. We didn’t wear shoes inside, we didn’t scuffle chairs, it was insane. One noise complaint was on my husband, who was the only one awake, cleaning the kitchen. The people that complained... got offered a discount. The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of!!!
So, keep in mind that the floors are paper thin. If you have a large family... I would rent a house.

This is a great lake resort. We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow. Decor is sparse and modern, but has all you need. Bathroom shower was extremely nice. It also had a living area with kitchenette (small fridge, coffee maker, sink and microwave) and gated patio with grill. It faced the two pools that are up away from the lake a bit. No lake view, but that is just steps away. The third pool is literally on the lake. Very cool. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed it. Good bar as well. We also did a half day pontoon boat rental. It was expensive but worth it to see the lake. Tubes were included at no charge. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Resort is intimate and it is easy to meet other guests if you enjoy that. There are also nearby trails for hiking. Great getaway from DFW area.
