Our family stayed at this little park while on a road trip through Texas. We ended up extending our stay to a full week due to how nice the park was. Facilities: Bathrooms are modern, very clean, and setup perfectly for the traveler with plenty of space to take in your shower bag and towel. We arrived immediately after a... More

Really A nice park. Very clean, staff was great, event was wonderful. Made reservations to come back next year. Was there all weekend over Mother's Day. Lots of fun, lots of music. Was able to relax and had a great time. Make this one of your stops.

This was an enjoyable place to stay. Our space wasn't completely level, so you might want to bring a couple of 2x4 pieces if you don't have levelers built into your RV. There were a lot of kids for ours to play with, and they all had a great time. There's a little park with a few swings, volleyball net,... More

Our original desire was to camp in Fossil Rim Park, however it was booked up over spring break. Although this was our second choice it was no let down. Very clean park. Very nice pool (although) too cold to use during our visit.) it was booked full over the weekend, however cleared out early Monday. The staff we met were... More

Oakdale Park is one of the most fantastic places on the earth. It is 90 years old, and kids can still play and swim in safety. The weekend music is fantastic. We have been coming here for 30 years, and it just gets better. We will be back.

Enjoyed out weekend away in Oakdale RV park. The price is great. Went for the picken and a grinning weekend. Close enough to hop over to Granbury to see the 2 annual balloon fest. Many things to do there in Glenrose. Oakdale has many cabins for people who don't have RVs. The bathrooms are very nice and are wheelchair accessible.... More

After purchasing our first RV, we decided to take it to Glen Rose. Our first stop was at Tres Rios. I was told "public" parking was at the front, away from everything. And no shade. 59.00 night. We left and went to Oakdale. 31.00 a night. We were met by Shirley who was very helpful and welcoming. The RV spots... More

My Ladies group has come here for retreat for many years now. It is a beautiful location and they have great facilities to accommodate groups of all sizes. We are always here before the pool opens for the season so I suspect it is really crowded then. The City of Glen Rose took it over a few years ago and... More

My group was there for a family reunion. Having little cabins instead of hotel rooms was fun, and it was nice that we had some outdoor space. However...the park was WAY over crowded, which made it feel less like a park. There was also a blue grass festival going on, and we felt like we should have been warned. Not... More
