Paul Boccafogli General Manager Rough Creek Lodge We did not get a chance to meet; however, I did share some good conversation with Chef Gerard. After celebrating my anniversary at RC last year, I hosted a business meeting in April for about 10 Top Client, complete with a great dinner and 5 stand the next morning. At that visit, we... More

My wife and I had the pleasure to visit RCL this past weekend and had a terrific time. We had heard wonderful things about this place and it lived up to the hype. We went for a spring turkey hunt/relaxing getaway. We would rate our experience with a 10 out of 10 based on the accommodating, positive and fun staff... More

Rough Creek was the perfect place for our team offsite. Yes it is absolutely beautiful there but most importantly every need was satisfied above expectation - from meeting spaces, audiovisuals, food & beverages, lodging, activities and an amazing staff that delivered excellent customer service no matter what we threw at them! Not 1 person on the team had anything but... More

My trip to Rough Creek for spring break could not have been any better. I went with my father and we spent a good couple of days at the lodge. There are plenty of activities to do. Everything is laid back. The staff could not have been any nicer. The food is outstanding. The activities range from any kind of... More

Took family here (2 adults & 3 kids) for spring break. Great activities great food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always asking if we needed anything. Got private tour of chapel on property and cabins. Daniel was an awesome guide. 4 wheelers are a must do to tour the property. Shooting sports were fun and the lodge came up... More

This was our first visit to Rough Creek. We were extremely impressed. The lodge itself is gorgeous. Very rustic Texas feel with floor to ceiling windows that look out over the property. Our room was great- had king bed, and bunk beds which was perfect for our family of 3. Nice balcony with rocking chairs to enjoy the stars at... More

I enjoyed going to rough creek lodge year after year until today's occurrence. I did tomahawk throwing. There was a sharp edge on the handle. It caught my skin and peeled skin off with deep cut on the edge. I was very surprised with all the activities they offer like zip lining, archery, tomahawk throwing, horseback riding, there is no... I would like to respond to this guests report. Here at Rough Creek Lodge we are all about service and safety. We offer a wide variety of recreational activities for adults, youths and children. We have a highly trained staff to deal many situations and someone receiving a cut is one of them. Under close supervision by a staff member... More

This resort is breathtaking. I was there for a corporate meeting in the high heat of late July but I was taken a back at the beauty of the location. It is high end prices and a bit out of my budget for the family for just lodging but if you crunch the numbers for Disney or other trips a... More

First, the rooms are so noisy that it is impossible to sleep. Next,The restaurant is not the Michelin one-star treat they make it out to be. Finally, activities are severely schedule restricted. Yes, there is archery - between 2:30 and 3:15.

Restaurant Billed and exclaimed as "fine dinning" with numerous awards....the food did not let us down, excellent, with one of the best steaks I have ever had...on a level with Cattlemans in OKC and Burns in Tampa . Service was great. Wine good but pricey. What was not great was the constant din of recorded county western music virtually durning... More
