We live in Arlington and drove out for an overnight stay. The trip took about an hour. I'd been to Inn On The River years ago and wanted to visit again. The Inn looked even better than it did on my first visit. Our cozy comfortable room faced the river and back porch, we spent some time sitting in the big chairs by the river bank then had a nightcap at Snyder's Tavern. Pam's breakfast was delightful and very good, the staff was helpful, and we enjoyed petting the two dogs that are on the property.

My family and me were looking for a place Covid-safe and we found this place. Pamela is amazing, and Ryman even more! They have a great guest service and food is awesome! We loved staying there and we will definitely go back.

My mom and I were looking for a way to get together that was CoVid-safe this ended up being perfect! Food at Snyder’s and the Riverhouse across the street were both amazing (both offer outdoor seating). We hiked all over Dinosaur Valley State Park and enjoyed a car tour at Fossil Rim. The Inn was so relaxing and breakfast was wonderful. Thanks to Pam and her staff for a great visit with tons of historical charm. We would love to come back!

Halloween night "The Inn" had murder mystery dinner. We had a fabulous time! I have not laughed that much in a while. The food was excellent ,supper and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and squeaky clean! The river is very relaxing to sit by and enjoy drinks and friends. Downtown is a maybe one block away . We will be back!
