We arrived a little late in the evening and Laurent had our room waiting for us. He recommended an outstanding eating place. We were given the key to the front door and to our room which was clean and had a great stand-up shower! In the morning Laurent and his wife prepared a very delicious breakfast and engaged us in...

We used Aux Mesanges to break our journey north through France and we were treated to a most excellent stay. Laurent was a wonderfully welcoming host. When we realised that his English was much better than our French he spoke to us in English, which was very helpful. Our ensuite room was very clean and comfortable. We were allowed to...

Me and my husband stayed for one night on our way to Lyon. Our only regret is not staying longer, the family was very helpful and kind, the house was rustic and lovely, just what I dreamed of when in the South of France. The breakfast in the morning was amazing! Absolutely wonderful start to our week in South France,...

Thanks Laurent, for your welcome and for a very comfortable night for our stay on our way home from Italy to England. Our room was clean and the exposed brickwork and beams and the low windows gave us a feel of the history of the building, set in the farmlands near Dijon. Breakfast was a feast of local produce with...

We stopped of at Aux Mesanges on our way down to Carpentras. We were greeted by Laurent and his lovely family. There we six of us, my wife and our two children plus my brother and his partner. We were shown to each of our rooms and settled in. The setting on the edge of the village was easy to...

We stayed one night recently on the way south. We got to a small room with very little light. The owners must have something against light as also at dinner and breakfast there was very little light. But what was shocking was the traffic noise. We were in the middle of nowhere but obviously on a junction of busy routes....

We stayed here only one night, but should have stayed longer! Laurent and Delphine were perfect hosts and we really enjoyed our visit. Area is quiet and the road next to the rooms is not that busy. First thing we needed when we arrived was coffee and that aranged. Also our baby had her 1st birthday there and cupcake with...

Wonderful stone house, located on the main road of Labergement-Foigney, a small town east of Dijon; just in front of the house, a wide parking is available to the guests. Aux Mesanges is home of the beautiful family of Laurent, the young owner, funny, kind, available, ready to give his guests a lot of good suggestions, to enjoy a nice...

We stayed here on a stop over to the South of France. The owners made us feel welcome although there didn't appear to be anywhere for us to sit in the evening, other than our room. The bedroom itself was pleasant enough although a little bare, with no coffee/tea making facilities or TV.

I agree with everything languagelover55 has written, which exactly matches our experience. A lovely coulple and a perfect stopover on the way to and from the south. We ate one at the house and once at the auberge Laurent recommended in the next village.
