San Luis Spa is amazing! Shalanda and Misty are awesome therapists. Very professional! Highly recommend!! San Luis signature massage is the one to get. You'll be so relaxed, you'll never want to leave
My wife and I had another excellent stay at the San Luis! We checked in on a Friday and checked out a Sunday. The whole check in process was a breeze and we were in our Corner Room on the 12th floor in a flash. Upon check in we changed and headed down to the pool. We had a Cabana poolside. Morgan was our server and took great care of us. From drinks to lunch whatever we needed, Morgan was on point and flawless. The pool also has a swim up bar and has enough room so adults without kids can spread out. One of my favorites from the menu is the Poke Bowl. It is really refreshing on a hot day. Cold tuna, avocado, radish, carrots, jicama, on a bed of warm rice with a spicy sauce drizzled over the top. My wife had a Cobb salad. One of her favorites. Did I tell you that my daughter and her family were with us and had a nice room on the floor below. All rooms have an amazing gulf view with a large balcony. The balcony is great for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The San Luis is such a welcoming resort. Everyone on the staff greets you and always ready to offer any help you might need. The restaurants at the San Luis have all the bases covered from Italian to Steak House to Blakes Cafe. A Starbucks is on site as well as a grab and go with pastries and gelato! We had a gelato Saturday night after a full day on the Island and back at the pool. Thats right, we spent most of Saturday back at the pool after a morning ride on the ferry for dolphin watching. The Hotel was definitely crowded this Saturday, but the pool had room enough for everyone to have fun. The rooms are well appointed, and the showers are great. We both slept soundly each night on the comfortable beds. I can't think of anything we might have missed on our stay at the San Luis. It is an excellent choice when coming to the Island. Everything you need is here. The beach is across the street if you need some sand and surf. A Rainforest Cafe is next door if you have kids and Landry's Seafood is pretty much next to that or hop in the car for a ride down the seawall with all it has to offer. Don't forget the Pleasure Pier either if you like amusement parks. It also has a few restaurants on site as well. Pull up to the front and forget your cares because the folks at the San Luis will take care if you!…
This is a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love this hotel. I love how they have shops inside the hotel. I love the heated pool. I love the hotel. The hotel is very clean. The hotel is very safe. The valet staff is very friendly. The concierge is very helpful. The beds are very comfortable.
Best massage - get the hot stones. The massage went over the slotted time and they apologized. nice amenities as well. the steam room, quiet atmosphere, scrub, and general ambiance. Worth the expense. My wife had the same experience. They do a very similar routine, but will specialize on problem areas.
We were pleased with our decision to stay at the San Luis Resort. Although it looks dated on the outside, the common areas and rooms have been nicely updated. There are a variety of dining options, all of which served excellent meals. Every staff member we encountered was polite and helpful, especially the valets. Our only complaint is the size of the pool. In our opinion it is not big enough to accommodate the number of guests during peak seasons like Spring Break. Overall we would stay here again if we ever venture to Galveston again.
Camille aka Frenchie checked us in and immediately made us feel special and welcomed. My wife mentioned that it was our 39th wedding anniversary and she insisted on sending up a special gift! We booked a Club 10 room and it exceeded our expectations. It is Spring Break so very nice to have a floor where no children are allowed. Our room has a nice view of pool and beach. If you want to be spoiled then stay at the San Luis Resort the next time you visit Galveston. The Hall’s
I celebrated my birthday weekend and everything was excellent. We rented out all of the Villas and the service, rooms, pool, cabanas and amenities were awesome. Danielle saw to it that everyones every need was met and Sarah did a great job serving us. We dined in Blake's and the Steakhouse and both were delicious. John Paul is one of the best managers I have ever seen. The banquet staff was courteous and friendly, and Alejandra made sure everything was perfect for our party. From check in to check out it was a fantastic experience. I can't wait to go back.
The rooms are amazing and every restaurant there was amazing the best being the steakhouse. If y’all like finer things than that restaurant is a must. John Paul ran all the restaurants we always saw that man.
Hello, if you are looking for an amazing spa experience such as a facial - go to the San Luis. Isabel Carabantes gave me an amazing facial. She made the whole experience so relaxing and comfortable, starting with Champaign, heated and soft table to lie on and the ambiance with soft lighting and music. Isabel is very knowledgeable and helped me pick out some skincare products that would be beneficial to me before I left. My friends and I can't wait to go back for my next facial!
Amazing hotel! I’ve been to Galveston many times before but never had a memorable experience here till I stayed at the San Luis Resort. Staying here is its own private oasis. The hotel and hospitality are top notch. Everyone is welcoming and accommodating to every need. Camille at the lobby welcomed us and took care of making our experience unforgettable. Thanks to Camille I have recommended the San Luis Resort to many of my friends and plan to visit again in a few weeks after I get back from Switzerland.
