Good location, close to seawall. Needed a king bed & were given 2 doubles even though the hotel was about 75% occupancy. Maybe a policy about guests using discounts from 3rd party websites. Breakfast was not very good. Waffles were the best item, no meat or eggs. Fruit was small & didn't seem fresh. No milk was out for cereal...

Not the greatest place - floor in our room is very damp which makes it terribly gross to walk on barefoot. Plus red stains on the carpet - not even asking what that is from. Will likely finish our stay and then not choose this place again. The room smelled terrible when we first arrived - opened the balcony door...

Walk a block to beach. Nice and clean. Our view was fantastic, but only 5 rooms have that view.

We were just going down to Galveston for the day and meeting some friends who have a place on the beach. The Baymont is a good location being on 63rd. It is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Great place for the price.

The room was very clean throughout our stay. The housekeepers were very polite and courteous. The room is very close to many things such as restaurants and the Seawall. The only downsides were the lack of pressure in the shower and the lukewarm water that came out of it.

We had a few issues, but the worse was the wet carpet after the rain. The water was entering the room through the a/c unit in the wall. We could hear it coming in during the night. When we entered the room it smelled moldy and I gather that is why. This really needs fast attention.

Broken door stop behind bathroom door was there when we arrived and when we left 2 days later. Apparently maid service needs to pay more attention when cleaning. Otherwise room appeared neat and clean. Staff friendly and competent. On weekends would be good if breakfast bar opened until 10 a.m. but understand it has to close sometime. :-). Would also...
