We stayed at the travelodge 1 night (2 rooms) & took the cruise the next morning. We were very surprised to find out the phones did not work. We could not order pizza, or a cab. We found if very difficult to walk until we found a place to eat at, as there were not restaurants on site. When we...

This was the second time we stayed here. Both times we were extremely late check in's, but were treated exceptionally well. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. They were also very roomy and comfortable.

I intend to write directly to Travel Lodge. They ran out of food for breakfast. We asked for towels when we checked in, never got them until I wend down to desk that evening. Reception desk was unattended much of the time. When I asked for decaf coffee, I was told they were out of it. I reported the sink was...

Floor was so dirty - my socks were black. Bath tub had a dirt ring and long black hair in it. Mold on window seal, walls and in bathroom. Bathroom and sink area smelled of mold. Bed linens were wet and dirty. We purchased bed linens (pillow cases, sheets, blankets and bed spread).

We made a last minute trip to Galveston Island and wanted to find and inexpensive motel with an available room. Once we were down there by the beach I decided to spend a little more to get something across the beach on Seawall Blvd. Luckily, Travelodge had a room with a King bed. With two relatively small kids I thought...
