I have lived in the Gulf Coast Area all of my life, and I didn't know this place existed. Truly a beautiful place to stay and close to everything on the island to do, But when you return from your day on the island, the peace and quiet is worth twice the price. Speaking of the price it is cheaper...

Located on Galveston Island and run by Ms Hanson. She serves a lovely breakfast and the fig preserves (she makes these herself) are awesome. The house is a few blocks from the main streets so it is very quiet and relaxing. She makes a wonderful and different breakfast every morning. I've stayed here at least once a year for (I...

Just when I think its time to retire (after 26 yrs) a lovely couple comes along like this one and I realize this is exactly where I should be and what I should be doing! It is just plain sweetness...that we do not see much of in this world today, that's why I love spoiling my guests so much!!!!

My husband and I just got married and we decided to go to Galveston for a small honeymoon. We arrived a little late, but Mrs. Marcy was extremely nice and helpful about where our plans for dinner should be since it was late. The room we stayed in was so comfortable I didn't even realize I was in a different...

We stayed with another couple in the 3rd-floor 2-bedroom suite (Zachary Room). Bedrooms are small, but comfortable, and the common sitting area is a great place to relax in the evening. The outside stairs to the entrance are narrow, just take your time.(There are hand rails at each end of the stairs.) Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. Ask Marcy about...

My husband found this place for us to stay for my birthday. The motifs in this victorian styled home are angels and bunnies. Every little detail was thought of by the hostess. She always had time to talk with us even though we only stayed one night. She was very knowledgeable about the area and made the most amazing home...

My husband and I loved our stay. We will stay there again in the future. Breakfast was delicious! We stayed in a suite, The Mauney Room. It was perfect for us, with a private bathroom and balcony access. The rich history and detailed design made the visit even better. The bed was also very comfortable. We have two children under...

Marcy has been the owner and hostess for 26 years. She is a native of Galveston and knows the history of the town and the home. The home is over 100 yrs old, survived hurricanes that have leveled other homes in the area. The home is impressive, the hostess is even more impressive. Knowledgeable of the area, a great story...
