This is a clean hotel with an excellent staff. I attended for a TxDLA conference. The conference meals were outstanding. Phone reservation change was a surprisingly pleasant experience. This is definitely a new favorite conference choice.

Clean rooms. Great restaurant. Jump house and pool were a hot with the kids. Really enjoyed the proximity to everything to do in Galveston. Especially the aquarium and rain forest nearby. Pro tip: avoid pyramid view if you value sleep before 11pm. It’s a techno music thump, thump, thump right into your room. We won’t stay here again.

My wife and I stayed Feb. 16th -19th, 2023. I made the reservation for the 17th the wrong date, and needed the 16th added. Michele Neikirk was awesome. She was not only able to arrange the extra night , but we were able to stay in the same room for the entire stay. Also cannot say enough about the Bellhops and Valet services as well !! The hotel does get busy on cruise weekends but still worth checking in!!!

After much studying, we decided to stay at Moody Gardens in Galveston. We felt we received a lot of value for the money. We enjoyed the Aquarium and the Rainforest! Wanted to make special note of how helpful the front desk was… We came back to the hotel after the restaurant was closed and Ashley found us complimentary sandwiches and chips for my husband and I. We really appreciated that!!! Would stay there again!

We stayed at the hotel for the Festival of Lights and Ice Land. The rooms are a bit outdated at this point. We are at the main restaurant multiple times and Violet was our server each time. She was excellent and made up for shortcomings of some of the front desk staff.

Stayed one night for a conference the next day at the Moody Gardens Convention Center. Only negatives: -signage for where to park. I arrived after dark and was uncertain where to park. FYI any of the parking lots are open, complimentary parking. Valet is available. -location is set away from most other restaurants, places of interest. I had no need to go anywhere else (hotel restaurant was open as well as a Starbucks in the lobby with limited menu), but it would take maybe 15-20 minutes to drive to grab a bite somewhere else. Check is was smooth. Gentleman at front desk was helpful and informative. There were a few people having drinks at the downstairs bar area, lots of seating areas available. My room was a little stuffy when I arrived, but it quickly cooled off when I adjusted the controls and stayed a perfect temperature. The room was lovely- King bed with good-sized sofa (and pull out bed), ottoman and chair in sitting area, and desk with chair. Several lamps made it very well lit. There was a vanity area outside of the bathroom with a pod-style, single serve coffee maker. Closet had plenty of space and 2 bath robes hanging for guest use. Bathroom has been updated (mostly). The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. Nightstands had extra plugs. A great night’s sleep. The walk to the convention center was all inside, so no reason to go out in the humidity! Yay! Bell hop downstairs checked my bag for me and kept it safe while I was in meetings all day. Everyone I came in contact with was super friendly and offered assistance. Would be happy to go back- and take the family next time!

Stayed during busy Mardi Gras weekend. From check-in to check-out everything was "first class". Guest rooms & food/beverage outlets were clean & well maintained, and food quality was outstanding. Most impressive was the professional & friendly "can do" attitude of the hotel staff! Hotel should be nicknamed "Enchanted Gardens". Special hospitality kudos go out to Bradie, Ashley & Reese at the front desk... Eric in guest services & transportation, van drivers George & Scott... and Michele, Concierge. Mr. Garrison & Mr. Elkins are are directing a dedicated management team!

It reminds me of the big hotels in Vegas. Good rooms though when a neighbour smoked pot we had to turn off our heat as it was blowing the smell into our room. The pillows were outlandishly too big in height to sleep with. The bed is as firm , but no back ache today so it’s not that bad. Also a bit of enamel paint in the bathroom is needed. We were in suite 710. Lots to see and do there . The pool area is lovely . We ate breakfast and dinner there and though a bit pricy it was just ok and did the trick.

the facility was beautiful and the room was so nice. We will definitely stay here again. We stayed here before our cruise and we use the accommodations for cruise parking and shuttle service. It was very very convenient.
