We both enjoyed the beautiful hotel. Very clean and friendly personal employees..The attractions were within walking distance and we will be back. The outdoor pool is awesome has two bars one swim up kn pool and the other is close to chairs. reccomend highly
We stayed at the Moody Gardens Hotel for 2 nights while my daughter had a cheer competition there at the convention center. It was the 1st time we stayed there. Nice rooms. Great indoor and outdoor heated pool. Food at the restaurant was good! Good customer service at the lobby bar and front desk. I didn't interact with any other employees. We didn't go to any of the attractions as it was really cold and rainy that weekend. But I definitely want to come back in summer and experience all of what Moody Gardens has to offer.
I would jukst like to give a big shout out to Robert Rion and his team in finding and communication with me regarding my lost hearing aid. I am much relieved to say the least. Robert was very genuine and courteous in our communication. Our visit to Moody Gardens was a delightful experience and I would recommend a visit to anyone, especially families! Much thanks for a great experience all the way around.
Overall it was a good stay with a 2 day pass to Moody Gardens. We went to eat at 8am and put most of our items in the car and did not check out. When we got back to the room at 9:30am the room had been cleaned and the remainder of the items we had in the room was gone ($100 worth of toys my son left). I went to the front desk to obtain the missing items and they called housekeeping but they could not find it. We had check back at noon and they said they could not find it. Because of this I am giving this place a 1 star review. I can understand if we had checked out and they cleaned the room but it was 9:30am and they had cleaned the room and we had not checked out (check out time is noon)!!!! No compensation or sorry, just write our name down and we'll call you. Never got a call back and I went back to the front desk at noon before having to leave and they said they could were not able to find it, again no sorry or compenstation for the lost items.…
We booked a package for new years eve. Everything was wonderful from check-in and the room. The front desk lady who checked us in was above and beyond and she got us in the room we requested at 11am. The next morning we packed up almost everything and went for a breakfast. When we came back to our room just after 11am to get everything else and ready for checkout, which is 12, we noticed the room was already cleaned. That meant some stuff we left were gone. We immediately went to the front desk and inquired about the missing items. It was a different lady from yesterday and she was rather rude making it sound like it was our fault not to leave luggage in our room. However, We are locals who had one night staycation so we didn't have a big normal luggage with us to begin with. She called house keeping but they ended up not finding them. I'm guessing they just threw them away when they cleaned. Sad thing was, one of the missing items was my son's stuffed animal that he slept with every night. I don't understand why the housekeeping came before we checked out but what most annoying thing was they didn't keep what was left in the room and they didn't try to retrieve it even though it was close after they cleaned. Additionally the front desk lady was not sorry and did not care. If I can reach out the manager I would but she didn't give me such option. Now my son was crying that he list his friend. They should make a system that a guest need to check out by phone or in person, or the housekeeping does not bother until checkout time.…
