My boyfriend and I stayed here in September 2015 for two nights. We booked the Smokehaus, which was a cute little log cabin in the middle of the farm. It was just as you expect it to be; chintzy and cosy, slightly outdated, but the bathroom was lovely. The owner greeted us, checked us in and showed us to the... More

I was very pleased to be able to get a 1 night stay instead of the regular 2 night stay minimum. We stayed in the Smokehouse Cabin. Carpet was a disaster and room was totally outdated as far as décor. Bed was comfortable and bath area was clean. Proprietor, Captain Matt, was delightful and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants... More

Thanks for the Review , The weather has been very wet and Humid . I have steam cleaned the carpet in the cottage , with all the wet weather the carpets have taken a beating. We hope that all our guests will always let us know if there is anything we can do to make their stay more enjoyable. More

This b&b had great reviews and raves about its food. Not the case, we got in late, there was no one to greet us, spider webs galore and a hot and humid room. If you expect a great breakfast again not the case. If you want Texas toast soaked in water melon juice with burnt bacon then this is the... More

We regret The couple in this review did not like their stay. They checked in after 11:00 pm so they were not greeted when they arrived. Our rooms are cleaned extensively. Our property is sprayed for bugs twice a year by a professional exterminating company, We regret if there was a web in the room. I get wonderful response from... More

A great experience and a true B&B, 10 minutes away from Fredericksburg. Perfect location in a farm beautifully renovated by the owner. We booked the log cabin (2 double bedrooms with 1 common bathroom) everything simple, clean, well thought). Breakfast was just right, everything fresh and home made! - This was actually the first decent coffee since a long time... More

My youngest son married last weekend in the Fredericksburg area and my immediate family stayed at The Full Moon Inn. The accommodations could not have been any better. It met all our needs from elderly parents to young family's with children. It was very quiet & peaceful, the breakfast was delicious & we had the run of thr entire place!... More

We spent one night in the Old Smoke Haus as part of our road trip of the Hill Country. Captain Matt was the perfect host, the location was superb and we totally loved the decor in our accomodation. But nothing will beat opening the door in the morning and being met by the owners gorgeous dog and cat. Wonderful, peaceful... More

This a great out in the country spot, about 15- 20 minutes outside of Fredricksburg, but only about 1 minute from Luckenbach. Captain Matt always has a great conversation ready to go and he knows his region, with lots of great recommendations on how to spend your time in the area. His signature breakfasts are beyond restaurant quality, so don't... More

We agree with the reviewer below us -- nice and peaceful spot, but really needs an update. Maybe it was just our room (The Smokehouse Cottage), but the finishings were older than expected for the price. Very personal owner and we appreciated that we could bring our dog.

A very peaceful spot, greeted by a nice but quite set in his ways owner, he was however always on site if you need anything and provided us with a great restaurant recommendation. Getting a taxi and back into Fredericksburg for dinner and drinks in the evening was no easy task but managed in the end at a cost of... More

Nice piece of property, well kept. The owner is always there and he really takes care of you. He cooks breakfast every day for you and the portions are very generous! This is a quiet place very close to many amenities including Hill Country areas, Enchanted Rock and Pedernales Parks.
