My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Magnolia House B&B. Robbie made us feel welcomed from the moment we made our reservation over the phone months before. The B&B was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious.

I booked Magnolia House based on reviews. I spoke with the owner and was really excited. However, a few weeks before our trip I found out that they had sold it. The new management is clearly not as interested in the property. I understand that COVID restrictions are in place, but we received a basket with continental breakfast items on the first day and it was never replenished. We received 2 coffee pods for 3 nights. The cream in the room was bad. The boutique toiletries are clearly being phased out. My feet were dirty after walking on the floor briefly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Overall it was acceptable but we will not spend the money on it the next time.

My wife and I stayed at the Magnolia House again for our anniversary. We had first visited Magnolia House two years ago and enjoyed it so much that we had no thoughts of staying anywhere else. Once again we enjoyed the quiet comfort that has been nurtured over the years by Phil and Tamora. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite again where we had ample room to lounge, had a private entrance and enjoyed our own Keurig. Phil once again knocked it out of the park with his custom breakfasts which he brought to our room each morning. Magnolia House is situated just far enough away from Main Street for you to enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect location! Sadly, this will be the last time we will be enjoying this place. Phil and Tamora have sold Magnolia House as life has taken them down other paths. We will miss them and their wonderful stewardsip of this B & B. Their presence made it a special place for us and while we will be back in Fredericksburg, we won't be staying there. But, for the rest of you who have never been to a B & B or visited Magnolia House in Fredericksburg, give it a whirl. And to Phil and Tamora, all the best and God's speed.

Several blocks off the main street in Fredericksburg, Texas sits the best little B&B in Texas. We stayed for three nights in the Bluebonnet Suite and enjoyed every minute. Phil served up wonderful and varied breakfasts each morning. The house is beautiful and very nicely decorated. And of course, with all that Fredericksburg and the surrounding Texas Hill Country have to offer, it would be easy to spend a full week (or even more) here. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Magnolia House B&B for two nights in April. Our stay was very pleasant, as the home and the suite were charming, very clean and spacious. The daily breakfast was a treat, and they accommodated my vegan diet which was so generous. I know this was an extra hassle for Phil, and I'm very appreciative of his kindness. The little touches were what set this stay apart - the soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. were all from a local farm and they smelled wonderful. We appreciate a natural product. We are also tea drinkers, and to find peppermint tea stocked was a real bonus! If you aren't a tea drinker, they have the fridge stocked with waters (reusable bottles!), sodas, coffees/creamer and teas. Robes along with the fresh linens were also appreciated. Netflix included. What more could you want for your wind down! What made our experience even better was Phil and Tamora, the owners of Magnolia House. Before arrival, I had reached out to them via email to see if they had a few suggestions on what we should do while in Fredericksburg (our trip was last minute and I did not plan well). Tamora reached out via telephone and spent a generous amount of time listening to the types of things we are interested in (nature, history, etc.) and also to get an understanding with our comfortability in crowds due to the pandemic. She then proceeded to make great dining and to-do suggestions that helped guide us on this trip. This was beyond helpful and saved me a lot of time. Phil greeted us upon arrival, showed us the lay of the land and gave us a few handouts on the activities Tamora and I had spoke about. He gave us his cell phone number should we have any questions or need to reach him more easily. In short, these are just two very kind people, and their hospitality and care is what sets this place apart. 10/10 would recommend the Magnolia House should you find yourself visiting Fredericksburg.
