There is so much to say about this place that I can't even say it all. Whether you are choosing to rest in the absolutely beautiful cabins, sit out on your private front porch, or sit beside the creek and listen to the glorious silence you will think you are in heaven. Every placed we turned in the cabin we... More

Overall it's a good experience as expected. The rooms are clean and everything is ready for use. Walking around the creek can be fun if its not too hot. The cons are that there are grass stickers that can easily stick to my dogs' fur. Breakfast is not provided as usual bed and breakfast places. No wifi. TV is almost... More

Dear guest, thank you very much for your review and I am very happy that you had a good experience. I agree with you that the sticker burs are annoying, especially for smaller pets. But its a toss-up between not using herbizides and having fabolous flowers in the spring but having grass stickers in the summer. We are not using... More

My wife and I went here for our 5th anniversary weekend get away and we loved it. We stayed in the Grindelwald cabin and it was perfect. The cabin itself was super clean, well organized, had everything we needed for our weekend, and the grounds were so relaxing and beautiful! I highly recommend this place to anyone - for family's... Had a lot of fun going to visit wineries in the area and then spending the night at Baron's Creekside. Overall a really nice place and really peaceful to seat out on the porch and just chill. We stayed in "The Victorian" since we were 2 couples, and having 2 BRs and a nice comfy living room to hang out... More

If you're looking for a quiet place just outside Fredericksburg, this is the place to stay! We stayed in the Lucerne cabin and it was ideal for a 'date weekend' for my wife and I. The staff is super friendly and we really enjoyed having a glass of wine at The Club. Totally unique accommodations and we will definitely be... More

Came to Baron Creek for two days of relaxation. We were not disappointed! The cabin we stayed in was the Rhine Falls. It was amazing! All the atmosphere of a rustic cabin with enough well thought modern needs. It was not only relaxing, but romantic and peaceful. A place that suits a weekend escapade, a honeymoon or even a spot... I've stayed here twice in the past few months and I can't say enough about how great this property is. Owners Daniel and Debbie have created a little Swiss haven in the middle of Fredericksburg. The rooms are rustic chic, extremely clean, and comfortable. Walking around the property is a delight. I went to their bar on the premises, called... More

Hd the opportunity to spend several days at Barons CreekSide 316 Goehmann Ln, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. The cabin we stayed in was nicely appointed with various items meant to add to the enjoyment. The main attraction for us, was the quite nature of the location. At night we could sit on the porch and watch ducks, cats an lightning bugs... More

Fredericksburg is a lovely place to visit. However, their primary business days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. During the week most eating places have a shorter period of time they are open, example open 10:00 am & close at 3:00 pm. You should always pick up a free map with all the main street & surrounding areas to visit.... More
