The location is perfect but all falls short after that. There were no shops to look around. The rooms were dark, felt dirty, and musty smell. A/C didn't work the entire time and neither did the satellite. Grotto heater didn't work. No tea was served at dinner. Property looked overgrown. Other relatives found scorpions in rooms. Owner offered very small... More

I believe this is the most unique place i have ever been to. I am hosting my destination wedding here and have visited at least 3 times in the last year. The food is amazing, as a renowned cook rebbeka offers such a wonderful authentic Italian food with a Texas Flair. The entire property is a piece of art and... More

I love the creation of mystic, old west, and southwest style of this resort. The underground pool the old church, and the staff are 100%. We stayed here three days and feel in love with is place. Good food, great massage, and well I loved it.

Not sure how to describe this to people that may want to stay here. If you like antiques and tons of -creepy- mannequins (50+)... this may be the place to stay for you. If you like doors that lock from the outside and not the inside.. this again may be the place for you. It is VERY rugged. The pools... More

I have been drawn to and camped at Enchanted Rock for years and now I have the option of staying at this wonderful, magical place. Trois Estates is an eclectic collection of buildings and objects that blends in with the surrounding area so well that it is almost unimaginable that it has only been here for a few years. The... We got the relaxation and down time that we had anticipated. We went there with the intention of taking our time eating, talking and relaxing. We enjoyed the views and visiting. This is a fairly new establishment and about the only thing that we would like to see improvement in would be the food service. The food quality and price... More

I wanted to plan a special getaway for our eighth anniversery. As soon as I stumbled upon the website I knew this would be a great surprise for my wonderful wife. She had no idea where we were going and her eyes lit up as we entered the grounds. after meeting the very freindly receptionist. We had a very relaxing... More

The Trois Estate is the weirdest mishmash I have ever experienced. The owner seems obsessed with adding on to the establishment..lots of noisy construction of new guest rooms and soon to be "boutiques", yet the low quality of the rooms he already has is rather shocking. Concrete floors without rugs,a tankless waterheater on the wall that needs constant mechanical help... More

Misrepresentated on web site. Rooms were dark and dungeon-like. No views from rooms - no place to visit outside of rooms. Bathroom had no hooks for towels or place for shampoo or soap inside shower. Housekeeping did not clean tub. Grotto pool not heated yet so no swimming, but it was also dirty. Lots of constrction on site so very... More

We just returned from a trip to the Texas Hill Country. We only stayed one night at Trois Estate but it has become a new favorite. The whole place is an eclectic journey. We stayed in the Michealangelo and it was lovely. Its rustic, yet elegant. Whimsical yet homey. It is difficult to describe the Trois Estate. We had a... More
