We had booked two nights here but it was so awful we ended up staying one. I really wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. If you really want to try this place book a different place in town first, then take the time to drive out to the property, walk around a bit, maybe ask if you can see a room (if anyone is in the office...good luck). Then you will be glad you didn't book here. Below is an email I sent to the owner that details what makes this place not worth it: "We stayed in the Titian on 9/22. We wanted to spend a few days at a nice place and were willing to spend extra money for quality. Regarding our stay, we found the buildings to be unique and interesting, almost like being on a movie set, and the gentlemen serving breakfast were nice; but those were the only positives of our experience. If I could put our stay in one sentence I would say we were extremely disappointed. For something as expensive as what you’re charging I expected so much more. The place is run-down and there’s junk piled in corners of the property. The moment we showed up I couldn’t wait to leave. In fact, we debated whether or not to spend the extra money to stay somewhere else but decided to try one night. The room is weird, not in a fun or unique way, just creepy weird. A broken clock on the wall, fireplace had some broken molding that we found thrown on top of the armoire, the bathtub had 1/4 of the outside with wood on it as if someone was trying to upgrade the look but gave up, and a weird water heater/ storage area behind the shower. It looked like it was furnished from things found at a Good Will and there was evidence of attempted changes of paint but it was left unfinished. The property itself looks as if a hoarder bought a plot of land to store their extra junk. The creepy darkly lit grotto and chapel were interesting but not so cool with it sprinkled with cat turds everywhere. Nothing looks like anyone cares about the place. As far as breakfast goes, do you really think that is worth the price of the stay? Out-of-can biscuits, reheated frozen squares of hash brown, a plop of cream of wheat on the plate, and some kind of egg/sausage omelet. If this was something that a friend made me while staying at their house I would be okay with it, but not at a place calling itself a bed and breakfast, and not for the price. We packed up our things and left after breakfast. We did not return for the second night. I’m kicking myself for believing the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. You have such a unique property with so much potential. If you really want your business to last either charge $60-$75 dollars a night or actually clean up the property, rooms, and upgrade the breakfast. I’m upset because I truly and honestly feel like I’ve been swindled. I’d like a refund for at least the second night that we did not stay." I emailed this letter to the owner over a week ago and have yet to receive a reply. Also of note: You can't actually see enchanted rock from this place, not that that would be a deal breaker...it just adds to pile of negative details related to this place. The pictures must be from when they first opened because it does not look nearly that nice.

My granddaughter was visiting and we had planned to go to Enchanted Rock so decided to treat ourselves to a night there. It is like stepping back in time to a gracious lifestyle filled with sensory delights. It is a feast for the eyes. It would be easy to imagine riding up to the place on your horse in colonial Mexico or Spain. Rebecca Trois is a delightful hostess and made us feel so welcome. The room was furnished with heavy Spanish furniture and even a saddle (which I loved being a horsewoman myself) The bed was so comfy and had beautiful brocade pillows and a spread. I love the old doors they used everywhere. There is a courtyard where everyone has a table and chairs to use and at night they have it nicely lit. We had a bottle of wine waiting for us. The next morning breakfast was brought to us which consisted of pancakes with caramelized bananas, eggs, sausage, hash browns, English muffins, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. I might have even left something out. Rebecca's mom lives there too and my granddaughter had a good visit with her. There are friendly dogs and cats to love on while you're enjoying your wine in the courtyard. Another wonderful surprise was to find artist Judith Lightfeather there. She shared her art with us and she is amazing. I wanted a nice place to stay with my granddaughter and she was over the moon with the experience. We will go back again and again and again. Thank you for making a wonderful memory for us, Rebecca.
