A really well located hotel with character in easy walking distance to Main Street in Fredericksburg. Outdoor swimming pool and hot tub nice and warm. Inside was well appointed with character and a plentiful selection for breakfast.
The Inn on Baron’s Creek was absolutely gorgeous. The service was wonderful and the rooms awesome. The General Manager, Kammie Robertson was so helpful, kind and just an absolute lovely person. I had two broken toes and she went above and beyond to help me. Customer service and kind hospitality 100%. I will always stay here.
Location is perfect for walking to the downtown area. Very quiet and everything was tidy and clean. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the creek and landscaping. Breakfast was good with lots of seating areas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed three nights Sept 24-27. After returning from day 2 saw housekeeping across the hall. Opened our door and room not refreshed. So I asked housekeeping if they were going to refresh our room, her answer was do you want it done. I said sure, and we waited 1/2 in the lobby. Second day, we put out makeup room in key slot, thinking the previous day was our fault for not having that out. When we returned no housekeeping. At 4 pm we called front desk and was told that the sign we had put out was an old one and that’s why the room wasn’t cleaned????? Nothing at checkin said a guest had to notify housekeeping everyday for a room refresh!
My hubby and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The hotel is not new but very well kept and clean. Our room was very spacious and included a fridge and microwave. The staff was great especially Terry (the evening clerk at the desk) she was very knowledgable and helpful. The pool area was nice and had a hot tub also. We did not use the spa but it is right next to the hotel. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the main strip in Fredericksburg and and easy walk with sidewalks the whole way. They also have the wine buses right next to the hotel if you want to tour some of the wineries. All in all a great place to stay.
Great stay! We really enjoyed this hotel. Check in with Cami was wonderful and the room clean and spacious. The breakfast is fantastic. Actually a full buffet. We ended up staying 2 nights. The team here were friendly and always cleaning. We bought Fredericksburg wine in the pantry and Cami provided us with an opener and lovely wine glasses. We sat out by the creek and enjoyed the lovely view. The only minimal challenge was the dryer in the laundry room was not working properly. We would recommend this hotel!
I don't leave a lot of reviews anymore, but I liked this hotel, and wanted to counter some of the other reviews—at least from my experience. I was traveling with my two teens, and we enjoyed the larger room, with the ability to close off the sleeping area from the work/gaming area. The beds were clean, as was the couch and chairs and bath. The bath area was also large and the shower was great. Wifi was strong and breakfast was very good, something like a Hampton Inn offers. The breakfast area also was large, which I appreciated. Parking lot was very large, but we could easily walk the couple blocks to downtown. The room was slightly dated, but was clean, and that's what matters to us. I really liked this place and would stay here again should I return to Fredericksburg. BTW, I think my room rate was around $150 per night. I booked directly through their website and got a discount code for doing so.…
Cute place but very over priced. We got a “jacuzzi suite” which essentially was an oversized room with a jacuzzi shower. Not the cleanest place. Would have given a higher rating if price wasn’t so steep. Phones never get answered either. Wouldn’t stay here again.
My wife and I stayed in a suite (room #126) recently. Everything was fine and we would stay here again if we returned to Fredericksburg. The Inn is about a block off of Main Street and is in a very good location for walking around the central business district. It also has a large parking lot which is helpful. The room and bathroom were decent sized and fairly nice although a little dated. Front desk personnel were helpful and they sell snacks and some food items in the lobby. Breakfast buffet was included in the room rate and was pretty basic. The price ($143) represented a very good value. No complaints from us. Recommended.
Never actually set foot in the premises. Had a three day reservation. The parking lot was essentially empty and before I got out of the car to check in I was told in no uncertain terms I could not park my suburban towing my race car in any lot around the hotel. There was no alternative offered. I cancelled the reservations on my phone on the lot before leaving. While I am sure the number of people towing race cars wanting to stay in that hotel is tiny. It was the way I was told I could not park there was a bit abrupt and rude. Not a problem at all as I there were rooms all over town with availability. It was simply a minor inconvenience but things could have been different had it been a busy time in this popular tourist destination. I probably should not judge a location by one interaction, but I have a low level of tolerance from service industry employee rudeness. It could have been handled better. If you have a trailer or motor home, stay elsewhere.…
