My wife and I spent our 22nd anniversary with Ross Burtwell and his WONDERFUL Cotton Gin Village and Cabernet Grill. Fall back in time in a wonderful 1800's cabin, updated with all the modern conveniences. After full days of shopping, wine tasting, and a terrific meal at the Cabernet greill, we fell asleep in front of the cozy wood-burning fireplace....

We enjoyed the rustic appearance of the cabins, but loved the up to date facilities. The morning breakfast was delivered, hot and delicious both days we were there. We have a Keurig coffee maker at home , so we're delighted to have that. We look forward to our next trip to Fredericksburg to again stay at the Cotton Gin Village!

Fantastic features shown on line included unique interesting cabins which were very well decorated and a stunning courtyard area with tables, fire pits, heaters, pools, water falls, etc. The only problem was that the whole village was within 100 ft. of a very busy highway and the traffic was horrific both in and out of the cabins. Sleep at night...

Staying at the Cotton Gin Village was the best part of our stay in Fredericksburg. The private little cabin was so clean, adorable, and perfectly cozy for our short 3 day get away. It has everything you could need on vacation. The breakfasts delivered in picnic baskets were so delicious and honestly the best food we had in a small...

The Cotton Gin Village is the very best of the Texas Hill Country and Fredericksburg. The log cabins are reminiscent of the early German immigrants that settled Fredericksburg. The grounds outside the cabins are peaceful and tranquil, with the sound of the waterfall. We've stayed here twice. The first time was in February and it was pretty cold outside. Even...

8 women stayed in the 1 Big House. Accommodations were spacious & comfortable. The wrap around porch is great for sitting outside enjoying a glass or two of wine. Good breeze while sitting on porch. A few of us adventurous ones tried the tree swing-lots of fun. Location is great, not too far from downtown shopping, walk thru front gate...

First time we've stayed here. I would come back. Adorable rustic cabins with front porches with rockers that I loved. It's not out in the country like we thought. Cabins are off the highway. Despite that it's very peaceful with the sound of water falling from a central water feature. Nice cabins .. we stayed in Pedernales. The thing that...

The Rio Grande Cabin is the first one in a line of very cute cabins. First - the good things - a great breakfast delivered to your door, very cute furnishings, a really nice jacuzzi tub and a very cute porch to sit and rock on. But any one staying in this cabin would agree - the bed is awful!...

The Cotton Gin Village embodies the very best of the Texas Hill Country. The provincially elegant 19th century log cabins are reminiscent of the early German immigrants that settled Fredericksburg. The trickling waterfalls, wild pomegranate bushes, and pecan trees that surround the cabins give the B&B a feeling having been there as long as the town itself. It's conveniently located...

My husband and I chose to stay at the Cotton Gin village when we visited Fredericksburg on our nine year wedding anniversary. We rented the Pecos cabin for Wednesday through Saturday and loved every moment there. It was a nice, private, mostly quite getaway (we could hear traffic from the highway, but that quieted down at around 8pm each night)....
