The Cotton Gin Village embodies the very best of the Texas Hill Country. The provincially elegant 19th century log cabins are reminiscent of the early German immigrants that settled Fredericksburg. The trickling waterfalls, wild pomegranate bushes, and pecan trees that surround the cabins give the B&B a feeling having been there as long as the town itself. It's conveniently located... More

My husband and I chose to stay at the Cotton Gin village when we visited Fredericksburg on our nine year wedding anniversary. We rented the Pecos cabin for Wednesday through Saturday and loved every moment there. It was a nice, private, mostly quite getaway (we could hear traffic from the highway, but that quieted down at around 8pm each night).... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Cotton Gin. We stayed in the Guadalupe cabin. What a perfect experience. 3 other couples joined us. This was our first stay, but our friends we repeat visitors. The cabin is a wonderful size. The bed is upstairs, so if you don't want to go up and down, choose a different cabin.... More

From the time I opened my cabin door, Rio Grande cabin, to gathering my homemade breakfast treats in the cute basket, I was smiling. As one to love the warmth and scents in a country store, i was in heaven! So relaxing here and quiet! Great location to LBJ ranch, Old Tunnel bat emergence, Luckenbach dance hall and guitar picking,... More

We stayed in the Guadalupe cabin 2 nights. Very unique real rustic cabin with modern amenities. The loft bed was comfortable and we weren't bothered by any road noise as others have said. Breakfast was delivered both mornings right on time. B'fast tacos the first day and little egg souffles the next with fruit, OJ and pastries both times. Very... More

Stayed here in April during a weekday. We had the cabin that was in the back to the right farthest from restaurant. The place was cute and cozy. The decor was appropriate and very relaxing. It wasn't too girly so men can feel comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious with plenty of room. The courtyard is nice and relaxing as well.... More

WE stayed two nights in the Guadalupe cabin, Very nice accommodations. The breakfast delivered every morning was a treat. Great food and everything was fresh. The staff is extremely friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Although they could use more parking reserved for their guest. The restaurant staff and customers made it hard for us... More

We absolutely loved our stay here (4 day/3night) at the Cotton Gin. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable! Breakfast. . Wow! Was always amazing. We always looked forward to opening the door each morning to see what delicious pastries, fresh fruit and hot breakfast items were in our basket. The servings were generous, and more than satisfying. We made... More

Perfect location just outside of all the activity of downtown. The restaurant is AMAZING too! Our first time in Fredericksburg has been magical! Will be back for sure! The cabins are very nice with awesome whirlpool tubs. The breakfast is promptly on your porch in a cooler every morning so you don't have to go sit around people you don't... More

This is a great little place to hide away from all the other places in town. We stayed at the Big House and while the living room was very comfortable and spacious, the rest of the accommodations were just average. It could use some updating and freshening/sprucing up. Odd that the downstairs master bedroom is a Queen bed, while the... More
