Lovely stay. Great cabins, friendly staff. Highly recommend. An excellent on-site restaurant. Our one beef was the 4 pod limit per day on the Keurig, with a $2 per pod charge if you go over… seems like the cabin charge is high enough that should not be an issue. Otherwise, truly a wonderful stay!
Relaxing, comfortable, food was wonderful, very clean. Close to everything, the water features were beautiful. We sat on the porch and just relaxed and enjoyed the beauty and peace of the property. Having breakfast delivered to rum was included in the price and it was very good and we did not have to get out to go eat.
The cabins are fully equipped, but still charming. The restaurant is top-notch, and the morning breakfast delivery is the icing on the cake. Check-In -- No problem Check-Out -- No problem Staff -- Friendly and Helpful Grounds -- Well-kept and very nice. Coy ponds and waterfalls were nice. We didn't use the fire pit, but we will when we come back. Restaurant -- Exceptional.
We loved our stay in the upper frio at cotton gin village. The entire place was impeccably clean, peacefully quiet and relaxing. The restaurant had a very nice meal and wine selection. The breakfast delivered to the door was a very nice touch. The welcome cookies were delicious and the s’mores were fun. I cannot say anything really negative about our experience other than the sitting room was a little cool as the fireplace fan had to be on constantly. The fire warmed it up nicely though and there was a nice warm blanket available. I suspect this would not be an issue during warmer months. Overall it was a very delightful stay and a highlight of our trip. We will definitely recommend it to anyone heading to the Fredericksburg area.
The Cotton Gin Village is absolutely amazing you must stay here! My husband and I stayed here for two nights for our Anniversary and LOVED IT! The staff were super helpful and willing to help. It is a must go place!!
The Cotton Gin thinks of everything to make your stay great! Nice, comfortable, roomy cottages decorated in a country/western theme. Fresh cookies, microwave popcorn, ingredients for s'mores, coffee and hot chocolate, fire wood. and water bottles complete the extras that await you. Then they blow it out of the water with their breakfasts! We truly enjoyed our stay, not only our cottage but the immaculate grounds as well.
We loved our stay at Cotton Gin Village. The Cabin was super cute. Loved the fresh yummy chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. The breakfast was AMAZING each morning. We didn't get to eat at the Cabernet Grill since they were closed during our stay. We stayed in the Rio Grande cabin. My only complaint is the road noise since the cabin is right off the highway. They did have a sound machine to drowned out the noise, it helped a bit. So if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest one of the inner cabins. Overall it was an excellent relaxing stay.
We stayed for 2 nights. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect with homemade cookies whey you check in. S’mores were provided for our fireplace. The shower was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. Can’t wait to comeback. Won’t stay anywhere else.
We enjoyed every part our stay at the Cotton Gin Village. The check-in was friendly, quick and efficient. The cabins felt secluded, but were actually just a few steps from the popular Cabernet Grill, one of the nicest restaurants in Fredericksburg. It was peaceful and quiet. The rooms are spacious. Maybe the "pioneer" decor is little overdone. I guess it depends your taste. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is super with top-notch amenities and a shower with 4 or 5 shower heads. We stayed the Lower Brazos cabin. We ate the Cabernet Grill the night before and were, honestly, stuffed the next morning. But the breakfast that was delivered to the room was so good we downed it all. We ate outside on the porch and it was one of the best "hotel" breakfasts I have ever had. There's plenty of nearby parking. This is great little great getaway. We'll be returning.…
The Cotton Gin Village is one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed! Exceptionally clean cottage, beautiful decorations, quiet [except for the squirrels running across the roof] and great location to Fredericksburg. We will be back again.
