There are lots of cool places to stay in Fredericksburg but this place met our every need. Conveniently located very close walking distance to shopping restaurants and the WWII museum. They have a great outdoor and pool area. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms open to the outside and ours was very near the pool. My wife and I originally planned to stay three nights but we extended to five. If you are planning a family reunion or business meeting call Kellie and let her help you. They have good meeting facilities. We will be back!
Plesantly surprised by our hotel stay. While staying within safe covid guidelines we were treated warmly, and found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. Hotel looked small but was cleverly laid out with pools, outdoor seating areas and other amenities that a larger hotel would have but didn’t loose its cozy feel. Breakfast was adequate and the location with only a very short walk to town.
I stay at Hamptons everywhere I travel for the points and they are consistent. This is a very nice hotel with Fredericksburg touches. Check in was quick, common areas nice and up to date. Pool looked nice but we didn't use. Parking was free and convenient to the rooms. Walls were this and galloping upstairs was noticeable at time/. We opted for the balcony room for an additional small fee and am so glad we did. Weather allowed us to sit outside most of the time we spent in the room. cons were the price.... I realize we were in a tourist town but the Hampton we stayed in the next day in San Antonio was nicer at half the price. I'm really tired of packaged breakfast, covid is over, I want the hot breakfast I'm paying for. I understand the hotels are trying to re-coop lost revenues but why does it have to be off our backs?…
Jim, the front desk host, provided a warm welcome reminding us just how vital community and kindness are to all!! Jim sprinkled us with southern charm, great local tips on walking to Main street and a reminder of the breakfast with waffles or tacos! The pool and hot tub were just what we needed after a day at the wineries! Great stay, rooms are updated - this hotel is a GEM! Jim, we’ll be back ;-)
We stayed here for a two day extension for a girls weekend in San Antonio. Ashley in the front is a total gem! The mattresses are so comfortable. The complimentary soda, water and coffee are a welcome touch. You can’t go wrong with the free hot breakfast, try the burritos. The hot tub, fire pit and pool made our stay feel more like a resort. We will be back!
