Nestled near Main Street, Fredericksburg Inn & Suites is celebrated for its prime location with easy access to local shops and nightlife. Guests often enjoy the outdoor pools and complimentary breakfast, despite mixed reviews on the value and some dated aspects. The friendly service and inviting atmosphere are frequently praised, though responsiveness and organization can falter.
While the rooms are generally comfortable, they can suffer from outdated decor and lack of soundproofing. The hotel's cleanliness and well-kept grounds are highlights for many visitors.

Detailed Reviews
The room is decent and comfortable, older typical floor plan. The best we can tell from pictures and a few reviews we read , we THINK the rooms that surround the pool have an upgraded remodel done to them than the outside rooms have where our room was. The LOOK of the carpet left me feeling it wasn't terribly clean though it may have been clean. The barn door was a nice idea to block off the dressing area and sink. The tub faucet dripped which wasn't a problem for us, but we reported it to them since drips cost them alot of money. Where this place shines is first in it's proximity to Main Street, so convenient. The other part is the outdoor setting. Couldn't really ask for better. There are so many choices of areas to enjoy. The pools offer alot and very comfortable temperature, nice outdoor furniture in multiple locations, fireplace, fire pit surrounded by seating, picnic tables, benches, and the list goes on. We wish we had more time to enjoy it, but we had already planned our time for seeing the area and didn't really have time to enjoy what the facility had to offer. Now we know if we ever get to stay again and will plan a little differently. Because of the virus, they are only serving grab-and-go breakfast. We opted to go to a restaurant instead, but did have some yogart.
We felt the room was more expensive than it should have been, more like a nicer hotel than the motel room than it is, but guess it balances out some because of the grounds that others don't offer. Being pretty much a tourist town may add to the problem of pricing, too.

This inn was overall a fantastic place to stay! The pool area is absolutely stunning with one heated pool, one cool pool, and a hot tub. There is also a real wood fireplace with a few chairs that create a lovely place to relax. The room we stayed in was super nice and plenty spacious for our family. The only downside we ran into was the breakfast in the morning was good food however, there is not enough seating in the breakfast area for as many rooms as they have. One great perk of the location is that it is within close walking distance of main street with all the cool shops.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
The room was clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable, which would have been acceptable for an overnight stay. Unfortunately we had reserved a three night visit. The room would have been made so much better with a decent chair and a small table. What it had was an ottoman, and a small hard plastic seat.
The shower was the ideal height for someone 5 feet or under. The microwave was in the bottom of a cabinet, quite close to the floor. All in all, next time we’ll try somewhere else.

No idea why this hotel is ranked number two. Everything inside the room is old and needs a coat of paint. The carpet is stained. The blinds on the windows are cute but only block out about 50% of the light. The channel guide on the desk shows HBO channels but on the TV it says unavailable. I was told upon check-in that there were going to be breakfast sandwiches to go. I understand that we’re in the middle of COVID-19 but restaurants have opened up you could at least have something warm wrapped in foil to go. I think part of the purchase price should be refunded. The only reason this motel is as high in the rankings as it is is because of its outdoor area. This is a motel because the doors are on the outside of the building. You are also not within walking distance of any restaurants or attractions.

Pleasantly surprised with the clean rooms, extra pillows plenty of towels , nice grounds, pool and breakfast tacos.. staff was very kind, nice outdoor, creekside spots to read , rest , sit by fire , s’mores .. wxcellent walk to downtown , great vibe, outdoor lighting and confermve facilities for groups. would say higher quality paper products in rooms, check plumbing/drainage in baths and an offer of daily room service would be great.

Part of the trip was paid by the organizers, and this was all prearranged with management. Yet, when we checked in, the desk clerk did not listen, nor did she check with management, but charged my credit card for over 800.00 without telling me she did it. That unpleasant surprised drastically threw my credit card balance way out of wack!! It took three days and several stops at the desk to resolve the issue.
The breakfast was quite inadequate...in fact not at all appetizing.
The highest tested WiFi speed we could get was less than 3 meg. Five megs is the lowest speed any internet provider advertises a rate for. I was timed out many times due to the inability to make an internet connection.

We loved staying here! My husband and I stayed here for a date weekend and overall everything was great! Very clean, very cute, very conveniently located. However, I do have to say that the first night we were there we had gone to bed around 1230am and then received multiple calls from the front desk between 2 am and 230 am. We answered all of them as we were concerned why someone was calling in the middle of the night. The hotel front desk was telling us that they heard yelling and fighting coming from our room (we didn't even have the TV on and had been asleep for hours) and that we needed to calm down. This was absolutely not us, but they called multiple times. I'm not as frustrated with that as I am that as opposed to walking 100 ft to actually check on us, they called 3 separate times! What if someone WAS fighting and screaming (or why if someone is telling you that you have the wrong room, are you not checking WHERE the sound is from)? Why were we not given the courtesy of someone checking on us to physically make sure everything was okay as opposed to calling 3 times and having my husband tell them everything was fine three separate times? Very frustrating and concerning situation. Please make sure the front desk understands the brevity of accusations and how to verify their validity if needed for the safety of your hotel guests! Other than this incident, thank you so much for providing such a great place to stay! And the breakfast was FANTASTIC!

I hate to give away a secret, but this is a wonderful getaway spot. The grounds are immaculate (Thank you Jorge and team) Lots if semi private seating areas to sit around an outdoor fire (x3) with your crew or chat with new friendly folks, beautiful trees and gardens. Beautiful pools and fountains. Nice lobby and breakfast. A true Oasis.
We live nearby in Horseshoe Bay and this will be our home base when we visit Fredricksburg. A short two block walk to Main Street.
All of the desk staff were very nice. (especially Bettina!) You can tell the rooms were all updated and recently remodeled.
A true 4 Star hotel for 3 Star prices, a super value.

Very nice property
Had a quick two night stay at the Fredericksburg in and suites.
Was in a king suite overlooking the pool on the second floor
Very clean and comfortable, bedroom is separated from a living room type area with a second TV.
The pool area is beautiful with many different areas of seating including a fire pit area away from the pool and a fireplace within the covered area of the pool. Seems to have two separate pools and hot nice jacuzzi. The area leads to a small river with sitting there as well. Very picturesque.
The free breakfast was excellent and probably better than most of the namebrand motel chains. The staff was excellent. Extremely personable and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We have loved coming here as a family for the past few years but this time it’s a disaster! Check in was supposed to be 3 pm but it 6 and still no clean room. There was no apology only excuses. No offer to discount our room since we are having to postpone the start of our vacation. Front desk staff is rude and acted as if it was our fault that we expected our room to be ready. For a business in the hospitality industry they have no hospitality. It’s so sad since this used to be a little family retreat but they must have changed management.

Yes! Dogs are allowed. There is a one time non-refundable Pet Fee of $50. Safe travels!
The fire pit was lit each night that we were there. I recommend that you check with the hotel regarding all of the outdoor areas.
Hello--don't know what perks come with Expedia VIP Gold access but just want to affirm that for the price, you won't find a better hotel for your stay in Fredericksburg.
No bar at facility but local bars and restaurants nearby and we used patio and brought our own beer snd wine
There is one pool that is fed by the hot tub up above so I believe it is heated. The other pool does not appear to be. I'm not sure about the depth by the slide.
