I stayed in the one bedroom with the king bed connected to the main house in March. The room was superbly decorated. I love how Gloria pays so much attention to details from the Egyptian cotton sheets and towels to the chocolates in bowls on the tables. But the breakfasts that she makes are out of this world and you...

We were lucky enough to book a 1-night stay in the Rhine suite over Memorial Day weekend. While our stay here was brief, it definitely met our needs: The location is very convenient (on Main St, just outside the busiest part of town). The building and room were well-furnished, clean, and had sufficient charm to maintain the "hill country atmosphere"....

We stayed here the last weekend of March and the place is wonderful. Fred and Gloria are the nicest of people and very helpful in places to see and where to eat. The breakfast served every morning was delicious. If you are looking for privacy, they definitely give it to you, but are there if you need anything. The Inn...

My wife and I have stayed at several local B&B’s in the past. This is the only one we have stayed at more than once, it’s the perfect Fredericksburg B&B. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts are great. This is one of the very few that actually still serve a full breakfast. The rates are extremely affordable...

Fred and Gloria made sure our stay was worry-free and enjoyable from the moment we made the reservation. The breakfast was so good, we had to ask Gloria for a recipe of her casserole :-) We definitely will be back to Das Keidel Inn on our next visit to Fredericksburg!

We stayed in the Guest House on Wednesday and Thursday and were extremely pleased with everything, especially our gracious hosts, Gloria and Fred. The beautiful little guest house is a perfect place to relax in this unique little town. It is professionally decorated with many pleasing touches and we cannot remember ever staying anywhere that came close to being this...

Great location. Across the street from the excellent "Nimitz Museum." Upscale decor and furnishings in the large main house. Very comfortable beds with down duvets. Especially liked the 3 lovely upstairs bedrooms-- they looked straight out of "Southern Accents." Not the kitschy, folksy look one sees in a typical B&B- this place has style. Fred and Gloria went out of...

My wife and I celebrated our second anniversary in Fredericksburg and absolutely loved this charming bed & breakfast! The owners were very pleasant and more than hospitable. It is located within walking distance of all of the main street shops and the museum. We would definitely recommend this B&B to any staying in Fredericksburg!

Very gracious hosts! We stayed in the lovely little cottage in back of the main house. Das Keidel is in walking distance from everything, yet peacefull, quiet and relaxing. You'll love the outdoor terrace and koi pond. This is a very well kept, friendly place to stay!

“If there are only two of you, the guesthaus if perfect. If you have atleast 8 people, rent the entire house. (two suites, Emily and Claras). We had 12 people the first time we stayed at the Keidel Inn, thus we rented the main house and the guesthaus.”
