This place is very new, it's definitely nice, spots are big and clean, great area and some trails. I really like this place, but I hate to say it, it is overpriced. A couple things I did not like about the actual spot, and these are minor, but the water hook up is literally in a box in the ground which makes it a little hard to get to, especially when you have a bad back and it's hard to bend over. It's a great idea for keeping the pipes and water from freezing, but just a little hard to hook up is all. Other thing is, no fire pits in the actual spots, they do have 2 large common fire pits in the middle of the park, but again, not at your own spot. With all that said, it really is nice and we had a great stay.

I chose Arch Ray over other RV parks because we wanted to try a new place since we don't live far and we were just wanting to spend the weekend near Fredericksburg. The sites are very nice, some more then others. We stayed in site 274 which was perfect and had a large tree to help with shade. There are only 2 sites that have any shade and privacy. The pads are not concrete, but we did love the grass turf for our dogs. They have a beautiful restaurant venue where you can also taste their wine, beer and alcohol along with an outdoor stage, but as far as this being listed as a RV Resort, that it is not. There are no restrooms, showers or laundry facility. There isn't even a "check in" facility, so no one to greet you when you arrive. Their website mentions beautiful amenities, but not only are there none, there is no sign of anything being built anytime soon. Which is unfortunate because they do charge as if all amenities are included. We did enjoy our stay but we won't be returning, until maybe they have updated the area and actually have all the amenities they mention on their website.

Arch Ray RV Park is wonderful! My fiancé and I are locals and stayed in our new fifth wheel for a few months as our property was being worked on. We loved the turf lawns with each slot and the spacious RV pads. Everything was clean, simple, and functioned great. No issues at all! Rhonda was so kind and easy to work with any time we needed to extend our reservation. We truly appreciate her help! Arch Ray will flourish! 🥂

Family of three visiting Fredericksburg for the first time. Arch Ray location is great and close to Luckenbach, Main Street, and Walmart. The staff are really nice and pleasant to speak to but the “resort” is not there yet. At the current state the price should be about 35-40 bucks a day. The website and advertisement is totally false but will be complete in 1-3 years. The brewery/winery are not on location and definitely not walking distance but more of a drive. The campsites are gravel so wear good walking shoes. There is absolutely no shade or trees in 90% of the “resort”. No pool, no bathhouse and no laundry facilities. I also was unable to connect to the WIFI on my televisions . The little river and creeks were dry, no blame to them. The “resort” is right off 290 but there is no fencing or gate to enter/exit which is concerning. I would no suggest you stay in your camper during the heat of the day as mine took time to cool off with it being 101 degrees. I would suggest you drive over to the brewery, it’s nice and they had good beer.

Also, there are cheaper campgrounds with mature trees and facilities to use. I say skip Arch Ray and stay somewhere different until it’s a true resort.

We have been coming here for 3 years …and while the park is clean there are no facilities that “have been coming” since they opened years ago. After awhile you get tired of the promise of “coming soon”. We will be looking elsewhere for our next trip to Fredericksburg. Don’t get me wrong, if you just want to unplug and relax with nothing to do, then this is your place.

Great spot with many more things to come in the near future. New distillery, brewery, winery, restaurant, amphitheater, live music, a Wyndham hotel coming soon, a new pool, clubhouse, restroom and shower facilities, pool, store, bar, etc.
