We were lucky to get a late reservation for our 44th wedding anniversary weekend. We stayed in the Bollinger Cabin, which was perfect! It has a large living area with a couch, fireplace and a nice tv. There is also a sink, refrigerator and microwave attached. Adjacent was the large bedroom had a king sized bed with a very comfortable mattress and luxurious bedding. There was a jacuzzi tub and shower with a separate potty and sink attached. It was very comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing and a very good way to start the day. Ms. Becky and her daughter Hillary were so very nice and informative. Plus they were great cooks. Thanks y’all! We were very impressed with the Chuckwagon Inn and will certainly be returning. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Fredericksburg area. It’s location allowed you to avoid the busy downtown area if you wanted even though it’s only a few miles away. Check it out. You will not be disappointed. …
This was my first B&B experience and I am hooked. The location just on the edge of town is wonderful place to wind down after a day of shopping and sightseeing. The cabins are decorated and equipped so thoughtfully. The breakfasts are excellent; however, the highlight for us was the fellowship with this family after breakfast. We literally had to make ourselves leave after our meal because they were so inviting and enjoyable.
These original buildings, with an old west theme, are a great place to stay during an adventure in the Hill Country. The location was great, the hospitality made us feel right at home and the best party of our stay was Becky's gourmet breakfasts. She and her daughter, Hilary, not only are great cooks but they provided for lively and helpful discussions over the breakfast table. Oh, and Fredricksburg is a charming place to stay!
We so enjoyed our stay at the Chuckwagon Inn. This B&B is a Hill Country must! The inn is not downtown which makes it even better. The historic cabins are quaint, cute, and comfortable. Becky and Hillary are the best hosts and serve an unbelievable breakfast each morning. If traveling to Fredericksburg, try the Chuckwagon Inn!
We recently spent three days at this B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hostesses were friendly and accommodating to our particular needs. We especially enjoyed our visits over breakfast. The meals were tasty and plentiful. In fact, we were so full we didn’t eat again until the evening! Becky and Hilary will not disappoint. Give this B&B a try.
