Detailed Reviews
We needed a getaway so we booked 2 nights in a deluxe king room, based on the reviews and the location. We were actually upgraded to a 2 BR, two bath house, complete with full kitchen, living and dining rooms! We don't know why we were, but the digs were extremely comfortable. Front office folks were nice. Location was very good; a 7-8 minute stroll from the main drag. We'd stay again! Many motorcyclists were staying but the noise was minimal.

After having a really bad experience at a motel down the road, we quickly checked in here to quite literally have our minds blown. Not only with the drastic change in one bad motel to the absolute gorgeousness with the Peach Tree being its just down the road from one another. The font desk staff were friendly especially Rebecca as well as the housekeeping team, they made us feel extremely welcome during our stay. At check in you receive a map of the property, an invitation to daily continental breakfasts as well as covered parking if available. The room was extremely clean and kept nice and cool, a note left as a thank you for checking in along which a coffee pot, coffee, sugar, cups, wine glasses and a corkscrew and of course your microwave and fridge. The beds are super comfy and the bathroom was beyond my expectations. The property was very well kept and even came with 3 very cute and friendly cats known as Calli, Shadow and Tiger. Calli in particular loved to spend hours in our room which we didn't mind in the slightest, we were under the impression she was pregnant so we’d give her treats and kept the room cool when she hung out with us, turns out she wasn't and was indeed just a very healthy happy cat! We were sad to leave this place but loved it so much so that we reserved again. 10/10 recommend & have already told everybody I know that if you stay anywhere in Fredericksburg let it be The Peach Tree Inn

We spent 18 nights in a Suite due to being displaced from our home for lack of power & water from the Ice/Snow Storm of Feb. 2021.
We were so THANKFUL to have a warm place & a shower.
We are ranchers in Gillespie Co. & Mason Co so we had the chore of traveling to feed our livestock & their water supply everyday.
We where able to save food from our fridge & freezer so it won’t all spoil since the suite was equipped with a full size fridge, stove & microwave.
We were treated with understanding and kindness throughout our entire stay.
We loved the fact that we were staying there knowing it is owed by a local family (borne and raised) since we are local as well.

My only advice is to stay anywhere else in Fredericksburg but here. I called to book a reservation for 2 rooms for my parents and I for a weekend. I made a reservation for 2 King rooms on the bottom floor, as my parents have mobility issues and can’t walk upstairs to the Queen rooms. I had also seen pictures online of the Queen rooms and I was less than impressed. I verified that my rooms would not changed and received a confirmation email with the price and description of the King rooms. On the day of our stay, when we arrived to check in, we were told they only had Queen rooms and were fully booked and had zero explanation for how our reservation had been changed. I have no idea how not one, but TWO rooms get downgraded on a confirmed reservation? I showed the staff my confirmation email and only received a “sorry” and clueless faces. When we asked to speak to a Manager, we were given a phone # for a Sharon Moose, who apparently was too busy at her other business, “Attic Storage” to bother to return our multiple phone calls. Again, the staff reported being “fully booked” with “no other King rooms available” even though we saw many other guests arrive after we checked in. With no other available rooms on the property, and all other hotels in Fredericksburg booked on a busy weekend – we were stranded. My parents struggled up and down stairs the entire weekend. Their shower put out scalding water and was a safety issue. Our bathroom had a soaked, stained toilet paper roll in the holder. Our room had a huge crack in the ceiling. Chairs in our room had disgusting stains. Walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors entire conversations. Housekeeping banged (not knocked) on our door @ 0900 on Saturday morning. The room we were given was at the front of the hotel and we heard loud road noise all night and into the early morning. I didn’t receive a phone call from whoever Sharon Moose is until 2 hours before check out on Sunday morning. Her voicemail was a quick “sorry for the mix up” and to call her back if I needed to. Our compensation for a ruined stay was a $50/night refund. I know that there are some good reviews for this location, which is why I booked with them to begin with. Just be aware that what happened to us can potentially happen to you if you choose to stay here. Whatever your reservation, whatever email confirmation you have – it’s not guaranteed. They can and will change your reservation to suit them. I have stayed in Fredericksburg many times and I would recommend staying down the street at Fredericksburg Inn & Suites or Inn on Barons Creek – these locations are much cleaner, closer to Main St., and are actually managed professionally. I’ve included photos of our stained chairs, soiled toilet paper roll, and extensive cracking in our room. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE.

RNin210, We are sorry that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. We offered you a full refund, so you would have been able to find a place that better suits your needs, which you declined. We then gave you a $200.00 discount for the inconvenience of the rooms you were given. Sharon was out of the area that weekend and called you as soon as she was able to, which there was no answer. A voicemail message was left which was never returned. We have been voted the “#1 Hotel/Motel in Fredericksburg, Texas” by the Fredericksburg Standard Newspaper for the past two years in a row. We thank you for your comments and are sorry that we couldn’t provide you with a more pleasant stay during your visit to Fredericksburg.

I stayed in Room 24 with a king bed. The room smelled clean. The bed was very comfortable, but the room was too small, leaving little room to move around. The bathroom is tiny. There was no stopper in the sink (never travel without duct tape) and the only plug in the bathroom was in the light fixture above the mirror. There is no counter space, so I had to close the toilet lid for space to put my makeup, curling iron, etc. The shower was very small and the water pressure could peel paint off the wall. I felt amazingly clean! Only problem with that is the hot water ran out while I was washing my hair.
The AC Is a small wall unit. There is a sign on the wall advising you not to turn it down past 72 or it will freeze up.
This is basically a small motor lodge from the 50s. Electric plugs are sparse.
When I started to make coffee in the small pot provided, there was no plug near the table so I had to move it to plug it in. Unfortunately, the pot didn’t drip well and overflowed, sending grounds everywhere.
If you like a room that is dark at night, don’t ask for Room 24. There is a car wash behind it and the security lights are very bright. The windows have blinds, but not enough to keep the bright lights out of the room. It looks like it did have curtains at one time because the hardware is still there.
The continental breakfast was nice...pastries, bagels, etc.
This room would be excellent for a man traveling alone, but I would not recommend it for more than one person, especially if you like long, hot showers.
I wish I had stayed in a chain hotel.

My family and I have been staying at the Peach Tree Inn every summer for the last 7 years. Ever since the new owner took over. We have always been very satisfied with the service and accommodations, until th. When we arrived my toddler was walking barefooted on the floor and his feet were black. The next morning we asked the front desk to please have the turndown service pay special attention to the floor. When we returned that evening the room hadn’t even been turned down. When we asked about it we were told that they were short handed and would not be turning down the rooms for the duration of our stay. The entire time we were there we had to take out our own towels and trash and ask for fresh towel each day. The customer service was very lacking as we were treated like we were bothering them. Upon checking out I told the person in the office about the floor. She said that they sweep and mop the office floor each day and the baby’s feet are still black each day. I don’t care who you are, clean is clean, and dirty is dirty. A clean floor doesn’t leave anyones floors black. I told the lady that after all these years we would not be back. Her response was simply okay. Not even a sorry. Good luck to the owners. With people like that running your business it is only a matter of time before no one will dare to stay there. But I guess that’s okay with them.

If you are looking to stay near main street Fredricksburg this is a great budget option. An old motel that has been updated and looked after by the owners and staff. With very friendly staff greeting you at the front desk and offering up advice and cookies anytime it makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast is full of great options and very fresh. Nice size rooms with plenty of space. Easy walking distance to main street downtown and all the shops and wineries!

This was the perfect getaway for us. We had been at home in the DFW area and needed a good safe place to get away for a few days. This place was quaint and family owned and met all our expectations and more.
The balcony room provided us a pleasant experience sitting on the porch drinking morning coffee and sitting there for an evening drink. The kitchenette was great for saving our extra food from our downtown dining experience.
The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the room and inn is so well kept. There is a picnic area with tables for outside accommodation. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS especially with its reasonable price, location, and quietness .

Well-cared for old style motor lodge. Our room was small, but clean and a most comfortable bed. Bathroom was very small, limited space, but plenty of hot water in the shower. Limited outlets. Breakfast area was small, but there was yogurt, boiled eggs, delicious pastries, cereals...good to start the day. Coin laundry room. Just a few blocks to main street. Friendly staff and a popular place.

We arrived having been told our room rate was $198 for two nights only to learn that there was a pet fee of 60 dollars for EACH night of our stay. So suddenly our 100 dollar room was a $160.00 room. This is an old motor court sort of motel that is conveniently located but it certainly is not a $160 per room motel. I think we would have enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg had we not been “greeted” this way. We definitely would not recommend this motel nor will we stay here again.

It is excellent. Hot egg dish. Coffee, juices. Fresh fruit. Pastries. Served in the dining room. Very nice.
Yes, all of the Central section of Main Street is handicapped accessible. I see people with scooters all the time. Each intersections has a ramp leading from the sidewalk to the street level. Peach Tree Inn has quite a selection of rack cards and can give you directions to both the Wildseed Farm and the LBJ State park where the working farm is located.
Don't think so. Our friends stayed in one of the cabins with two dogs and loved it.
We have a Keurig and coffee machine in the lobby plus all the rooms have a coffee pot in them.
