Our room had poor weatherstripping and leaked. The heater was not strong enough to overcome that and thus the room was cold. The fan could not be turned off unless you also turned the overhead light off. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The location is good, probably the best feature of the place. The continental breakfast was very limited and poor. There is no place to sit so you have to carry it back to your room. Also the price is way too high for such a facility.

We were really looking forward to our stay at the Peach Tree Inn from the pictures we had seen on the website, cute courtyard, covered front porch sitting and covered parking. Unfortunately that was not the case. We reserved a Deluxe King Standard but was put in a King Suite we assume because of full fridge and stove which we did not need. The room was part of a house, the only one without a covered porch, chairs or central air. There were no windows in the room, the AC did not cool and there was a door behind the fridge that would not close so you were able to hear the people in the next room. There was no designated "covered" parking, so at one point we had to park down the road a ways. We are pretty sure that we got booted out of our original room for "special guest reunion". The staff was very nice and friendly but we will not be returning to the Peach Tree Inn for our next visit to Fredericksburg. Very misleading and very disappointed.

Room was dingy and musty and bed was horribly uncomfortable. Front desk clerk was very nice but we left after 1 night even though we booked for 2. Apparently the booking button on their website is considered “3rd party” and the only way to actually book with them is to call. Don’t let them put you in the weird subdivided house across the street.

Always get a reservation. This is a major weekend destination for Austin, etc. Try and be here Sun-Thur. We had an upstairs, queen room. No pets upstairs, but no elevator. Perfect cleaning. A bottle of wine and 2 waters awaited us in the room. Nice touch but puzzled the wine wasn't from one of the 20 + winerys in the area. Room was a little small and had a 2 person table to eat at instead of a desk. but really no room for an easy chair. Small attached fully equiped kitchen minus stove and range. I have never had a shower like this one. The water control was only for temp. and the volume and pressure were like a fire hose. It worked but was surprising. Breakfast was in the office and was carry out. It was continental but high quality and large selection that was different both days we were there. This is probably the best value for the money in a popular place like this.

The room with a king size bed, two end tables, frig, microwave, couch, large t.v, three lamps, ceiling fan and small table and chairs was a very nice size. The room had wood or woodlike floors and ceramic tile floors in the bathroom. The shower was large and had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. It was nice to have a carport for our SUV right outside our door. The coffee and sweets provided in the a.m. were enough to get our day started. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The price for 2 nights was very reasonable. The reason I gave this quaint place a 4 out of 5 was bc the a.c. was right over the bed and the air blew on us all night. I had to keep my head covered with the sheet. We had no kleenex and no extra t.p. I picked them up in the office and the ladies were very accommodating. The soap was very small and would not lather. We could have used 1 more washcloth and 2 more hand towels but didn't ask. The rooms were updated for this being an old establishment.

This inn consists of several 2 story motel style buildings forming a U shaped courtyard with a grassy area in the middle. Located on the eastern edge of main street, easy few blocks walk to nearby shops and restaurants. We had a regular queen bed room on the second floor reached by a wooden staircase (no elevator), in the building at the end of the courtyard away from the road in front so relatively quiet. Chairs on the shared porch in front of rooms to sit on. Open air but covered parking sheds right next to the buildings. Room not big but comfortable with fridge (has a freezer section), microwave, a couple of ceramic cup which makes heating water for tea easy in the microwave. Very good shower - strong and super hot (actually need to be careful not get scalded). Table and two chairs in room. Simple breakfast - tasty pound cakes, cookies etc, no hot food - included in the room rate, served at the office at the front - you have to bring it back to the room to eat as there is no seating there. There is a very small outdoor pool not big enough for any actual swimming. As such inns go, quite charming and reasonably priced.

First of all I want to state that this establishment needs to update either their pictures on their website with honest photos OR update their property . We were truly disappointed. The property is older and run down and dies not look like the photos they show . When we first arrived we checked in and got our key . As soon we unlocked the door and opened it we both almost fell over from the smell. It was like someone had just cleaned with some very strong cleaning solutions and it was overwhelming. We went to the office to ask for a fan of which thankfully they had . We struggled to open the window but finally got it open and sat the fan on a chair blowing out the window . We left to go explore the town and have some dinner and we did not return until hours later . It was still horrible and unfortunately the office closes at 10 pm . So, not like a Hotel where you would have someone to assist you . We were forced to sleep in the room with the window open and the smell gave me a bad headache . The employee we spoke to about this the following day showed no concern at all, didn’t offer to come check it out …nothing. By the way they also advertise that they have free cookies and coffee out in the office area . They have a coffee machine and the plate of cookies that were there both days looked very old and with their pet cats openly roaming around the office , doubt I would have attempted to try one since they were not covered . But true to their advertising there truly is lots of wineries, restaurants and stores within walking distance. Even with that great of a perk … I would not return or recommend this Inn. Especially not for $325 per night . No way .

We were fortunate to stay at the Blue House which is part of the Peach Tree Inn the first part of October. The little apartment was perfect for us. The king size bed was comfy, and the apartment was very clean. Loved having an oversized refrigerator, freezer at our disposal and the complimentary bottle of wine was a complete, pleasant surprise. The pool area was sparkling and adjoined the house. A quick walk to main street that on a weekend was very crowded and noisy. A vintage motel with all the upgrades. Soap and towels excellent. Only suggestion would be to have more breakfast selection.

The peach 🍑 tree hotel is like the sweetest little place in Fredericksburg. The rooms take you back to a time when all things were simple and fresh air is all you needed to be happy . The staff were so friendly and the all night jacuzzi made it relaxing. But the short walk to main Street allowed us to indulge on all the vino 🍷 and people watching and lots of great music and fun stuff. So if you are thinking about a small place that feels like home and you want to fall in love all over again you just found it 💖. Thanks a million.. Pete & Sherie World Travelers Go on and get it !

What great quaint, locally owned motel. My wife and I thought it was very clean, quiet and nice for the price. The nightly cost was great, the people were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here and we will again when we visit Fredericksburg.
