My husband and I celebrate our anniversary in Fredericksburg every year - we love the quaint little town and availability of a wide variety of B&B’s. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to celebrate our May anniversary until this past weekend (Nov. 6-8). We stayed in the Sunshine Cabin at the Barn @ The Quarry B&B. The cabin is decorated in a cute rustic-chic style. It was quiet with a separate porch where we watched the deer, birds, and even had a visit from “Lorenzo Llama” who lives on the property. (My husband and I just LOVED Lorenzo!). The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and the cabin was appointed with all of those little “extras” that make a trip easier and more relaxing. To Paul & Kerry - thank you for a lovely visit - we’ll be back! Lisa & Howard Smith, League City, Texas…
This place is off the beaten path, outside of town. The property is very pretty, we stayed in Feb so an April visit would be beautiful i'm sure! We booked last minute and stayed in the Hill Country suite, the size is perfect for two. The room was spotless and comfortable. I'm not sure if the rooms in the main house do breakfast different but in our room breakfast is pre made and in the freezer so its not what I would consider your traditional B&B. 30 minutes and breakfast was ready, and super easy. If you prefer there are also eggs in the frig and egg cooker. The internet connection was not good at all but we managed! The animals are adorable and friendly, the two big country cats are most friendly! The hot tub looked clean although we didn't use it. The tub in the room was nice and deep with jets if you like a bath. The reason I give four stars is because we did have a couple of hiccups and the internet connection isn't so good. However, the room was spotless and the bed was comfy!…
Amazingly picturesque views and quick access to downtown Fredericksburg + Wineries. Uber is readily available for those that want to have the full vineyard experience. La Casita is perfect and provided ample room. We enjoyed quiet nights looking at the stars and beautiful morning sunrises overlooking hill country. Overall great experience and we will be back!
My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the sunshine cabin. It's always nice to get out of the city and be able to enjoy the piece of quiet of the country. One morning we even had a little donkey standing on our front porch. It's very close to Fredericksburg, so going wine tasting or out in the evening is very easy. We can't wait to come back.
What a wonderful place to unwind and relax. The attention to little details was appreciated. From a bottle wine of wine, roses, and a box of chocolates was so thoughtful. Our room was spotless. We enjoyed hanging out with Lorenzo the Llama and the two donkeys Latte and Expresso. What a great place to visit.
