My husband booked our trip as a surprise Christmas gift for me. We stayed at Bohl's Cabin and were absolutely blown away by how quaint, authentic and comfortable not just this cabin was, but the entire property. It's a tucked away piece of land that offers plenty of privacy and yet it's just a short 10 minute drive to Main... More

Our stay at the Baag Farmhouse was delightful. After a day of touring the museums in Fredericksburg, it was nice to walk on the the lovely property at Settlers Crossing. Our golden retriever enjoyed getting acquainted with the resident dogs, watching the sheep from a safe distance, and meeting Brighty the Donkey. This property is so quiet. We made dinner... More

This is not a traditional B and B - which is why I liked it. We stayed in the Kusenberger Barn and we loved it. The location is convenient to the 290 Wine Road and 5 or 10 minutes from Fredricksburg or Lukenbach - yet out of town enough to be able to see the Texas stars in the night... More

We recently rented the Von Heinrich house while in town for a wedding reception. It was the perfect size for our small family. We awoke every morning to sheep, donkeys and horses. The place was charming and quiet set in lovely surroundings true to the Hill Country. The pastries for breakfast were delicious. We will definitely return.

Awesome we stayed in the barn. It was most inviting with two bedrooms upstairs and a open floor plan that was lovely with fireplace downstairs. We enjoyed the serenity and the trails . What a lovely place to stay . The grounds are so nice. We had our own private bbq grill and brought groceries enjoyed wine and grilling as... More

My husband and I stayed at Settlers Crossing and stayed in the Indiana cottage. The house we stayed in was a 2 bedroom with living area. It was clean and decorated cute. The property was well kept and quiet. We really enjoyed getting away and spending time in this cozy bed and breakfast! Highly recommend Settlers Crossing Bed and Breakfast!

The first thing my girlfriend said, when we arrived and entered our cabin, was, "I wish we could stay here longer!" We had booked our stay on short notice during Labor Day weekend, and we could only get 1 night, because all the cabins were already booked the rest of the time. Afterwards, we even tried to find a weekend... More

Amazing views, quiet surroundings, beautiful scenery and landscape. We stayed in the Bohl Log Cabin and it is beautiful! The beds are so comfortable, we slept great!!! Beautiful trail to walk around the property and see wild life. David and his crew keeps everything in tip top condition! We loved being here!!!

I found this place while researching area options online. I couldn't have been happier with the results. Pulling up to our residence for the weekend, we were greeted by a donkey grazing in our front yard. The Von Heinrich Home (where we stayed) was both cozy and comfortable. It's a good central location for exploring Luckenback, Fredericksburg, and/or the Texas... More

We've stayed at many properties in Fredericksburg; but this is the last one. I can only describe it as a trip to Grandma's house. I'll never book anywhere else again. The animals only add to the ambiance. Take LOTS of carrots and apples. Britey may be a donkey; but she eats like a pig.
