Settlers Crossing is the most fabulous bed and breakfast I have ever been to and ive been to a TON! The grounds are so relaxing and the owner is so friendly and made us feel as though we owned the place. I haven't been that relaxed in a very long time! I have already scheduled my trip back to Settlers...

Went with the family and stayed in the pioneer cabin. Was the most relaxing and peaceful weekend we've had in ages!! The grounds were beautifully done and watching the sheep and donkey made for the most peaceful site. Felt like home and very private! Can't wait to return.

I would give the place a 1 but it is charming, quiet and off the beaten path. But...it's not a b & b - a couple of stale day old muffins and packets of oatmeal. Seriously, that's it. Really neat settlers cabins but there were extra touches that were missing for the $200 per night price. Dirty areas inside cabin,...

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that your stay was les than you expected. This traveler came on a Sunday after a very busy cold weekend which all of our guests built fires. The fireplaces still have coals in them and are impossible to clean out on Sundays. We clean them out every Monday after they have...

Nice quite setting in an 1850 log cabin, with fireplace. Plenty of fire wood for the cool nights, fresh pastry every afternoon and you never see anyone drop by, very private setting with no traffic or noise. The sheep and burro on property are very friendly and easy to pet. Not to mention large quantity of doves and deer and...

Highly reccomend. Cute...quiet...cozy. Very clean. Close enough to town for fun and shopping. Far enough away you don't hear noise. Peaceful retreat. Great for couples and for families. Walking trail is a nice activity as well.

I am so glad that we found this place. My wife and I had a wedding in San Antonio over the weekend and I suggested that we go a couple days early and visit Fredericksburg. I came across Settlers Crossing on the internet. Specifically, I very much enjoyed the pictures of the Bohl log cabin. I made reservations for two...

Perfect. We loved the setting, noted and appreciated the care and consideration the owners put into all details, starting with making the reservation to interior design, check out, all gracious. Bedding and bed were divine. Settlers' Crossing was a real treat for us. Thank you!

Being a native Texan & a Realtor, I relished all the effort to provide authentic housing with "necessary" 21st century updates, such as indoor plumbing, satellite TVs & a complete kitchen. The book of the history of the houses on the property, their restoration & origins, as well as the land's chain of owners, adds to the fantasy. Very peaceful...

This place is simply wonderful. Beautifully maintained, quiet, peaceful. We've now stayed in 4 of the 7 restored houses and each one is special...tastefully furnished, comfortable and well equipped. The property itself is amazing... everything from the wandering sheep herd, the deer, wild turkey to the hill top swing where you can watch sunsets.... We love Settler's Crossing and will...

What can I say that has not been said before? My daughter and I drove down from the Dallas area for a 3 night stay at this delightful property. I did my homework beforehand and thought this would be the perfect place to relax and use as a starting point to explore Fredericksburg and the surrounding Hill Country area. Mind...
