Disappointing. Bare bones room for a not bare bones rate. Room was okay. Dated for sure. Air conditioner vent blows right on bed. The room was quiet but looked into the atrium. Towels? One regular size bath towel and a few others. Have never seen so few in a room. I found a cleaning person in the hall and asked for a few more towels. She said no problem but told me she had to go and get them. I adked for one bath towel and two wash clothes. The towels she promptly brought had stains. 🫤. And, No ice bucket. Tried calling the front desk (in the middle of the day) to ask were the ice machine was. No answer. My husband ended up going to the front desk) down the elevator several floors) andfound the ice and the ice bucket…at the front desk. I coukd go on but you get the picture. Same thing at s Hilton hotel we stayed at in Georgia. Hmmm. Probably will not be staying at a hilton for a while. In my minsd you stay at a Hilton hotel and expect a certain quality. ☹️

In town for Wife's Birthday and to see the Big Boy train. Hilton hotels are where we always stay and this one was very nice. Calling Valet to let them know we needed our car had it waiting for us when we got down stairs

Valet service was convenient, although I prefer self parking but I understand this is given with any downtown property. Front desk: Would have been nice if they were a little more welcoming and had a smile on their face. We are diamond members would be nice if they added "Thanks for being a diamond member" these simple words that can show some warmth towards loyal customers. Also, when I asked for an upgrade, she responded "What do you mean by upgrade". If you don't have any better rooms available, that is ok, just tell us, don't respond as if we asked for something unusual. Please train front desk staff, remember they are the face of the brand. Elevators: Extremely old and dingy. Need an upgraded Amenities: Bathroom had no extra soaps or any lotions. Restaurant: We are diamond members so we got $15 per adult so $30 for a room. The staff was nice and welcoming. The choices were limited. I was hoping for full breakfast but this was more like continental breakfast. Hilton I guess is taking full advantage of COVID by not reintroducing complimentary breakfast. However if you travel Europe Hilton is lot better they offer breakfast and even Manager special but Hilton US is losing its charm and becoming more and more frugal. Will I stay at Hilton Fort Worth in future, only if I don't have any other option.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights as did my son and his wife. Beautiful hotel, attentive staff, lots of amenities. AC blows directly on bed which is usually a bad thing but our room had some kind of odor which was really evident on entering the room each time. Kind of between musty and chemical orderation. Sons room had same situation. Old hotel bones or something to do with the AC?

Stayed at this hotel as part of a business conference being held in their ballroom. The hotel is well appointed, comfortable, with super attentive staff. The rooms are VERY comfortable with an overabundance of bed pillows. My wife and I will definitely use this hotel again!

Great location but understaffed and uneven service. Room was well appointed but musky. Cost for stay was far in excess of comparable rooms at other Hilton locations. Nearby Marriotts and Kimpton are much nicer and have full complement of staff. It was a shame especially in light of the historical significance of this hotel and its potential.

I get this is an old downtown hotel and rates are high and labor is tight. I don’t get some of the things they have cut back on. When we checked in for two nights they told us the ice machine was not working—no big deal. They want you to ask for house cleaning—-no big deal. We get in the room we find only two towels and two face cloths. What’s up with that? Then this morning I making coffee and it dawns on me there is no chair with desk table. So sit on the bed with the coffee or stand if someone else needs the chair. These are sort of minor things but are annoying when paying downtown hotel prices.

Very Texan hotel, decor isn’t new or modern but nice enough. As diamond members we were upgraded to a King room with sofa bed, the breakfast credit covered the buffet breakfast, which had a good selection and was nice. No issues with our stay, we were close to sundance square and easy taxi ride to the rodeo. Good front desk staff.

Stayed here for two nights , room was excellent, spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and helpful, good selection on offer for breakfast, we ate a 10 minute walk down in sundance square at Riscky’s BBQ which was excellent value, you can walk 2 mins to bus stop to catch a bus down to the stockyards which run every 15 minutes and cost $5 return far better than trying to drive and park . Would definitely stay here again if we came back.

As a HH Diamond member, I specifically choose to stay at Hilton properties when traveling. But this particular location needs to improve its customer service standards - especially being a historic hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 9:30 pm after a long flight, but my room wasn’t ready yet. First, the digital key wasn’t working. The receptionist was very friendly, but she couldn’t solve my issue on the spot. So she offered me a drink at the bar while I waited. The bar was packed with a group of conference attendees, with only one bartender working. I was barely able to get one drink, but all I wanted at that time was to be able to shower and get ready for my meetings the next day. It wasn’t until 10:30 pm that I got a physical key from the front desk. The digital key became available around midnight! The room was updated and spacious. But my OCD side has me going around wiping all the surfaces, to which I uncovered some dust (not a big deal) and an old candy wrapper on the floor behind the ottoman. That gave me a slight chill - why didn‘t housekeeping notice that? A breakfast buffet was available for purchase, but the quality was average. When it came time to check out, there was only one person at the front desk. She wasn’t available to assist anyone else as she was busy on the phone dealing with a new hotel reservation. I was looking for an updated receipt to confirm that the breakfast was comped, but after waiting for 10 mins, I decided to check out on my app as there was no one else able to help. I was surprised that a digital copy of the receipt arrived in my inbox shortly after checking out except that I was still being charged for the breakfast that should’ve been comped. This now requires me to follow up with Hilton to straighten it out. Of course the representative first assumed that I didn’t know how to read my credit card statement as his question to me was “are you sure that the charge wasn’t pending?” It was after I triple assured him that I’ve waited for the charge to hit my card that’s when he apologized and said “sometimes our system is not good at recognizing comped meals”. I mean…this is the Hilton right? Aren’t they used to handling their HH members on a regular basis? Needless to say, with so many hotel choices nearby, you are better of staying at another hotel and saved yourself some energy writing this review.
