Very clean good size room for a family of 4. Beds were super comfortable. Only 2 towels were given for 4 people. Breakfast was very sparse which was disappointing for the price. Although right on a very busy road there was only a small amount of traffic noise which was pleasing.

Cons: The biggest negative to this hotel is that it is located directly adjacent to a very noisy freeway. Keep this in mind if you are sensitive to sounds. The electronic lock on the door was very temperamental and I got locked out of my room twice and had to have the clerk help me. Fortunately he was very patient and nice about it. I found a few stray hairs that weren't mine on the bed and bathroom - nothing extraordinarily gross, but worth mentioning. The water pressure in the shower seemed rather weak, but it could be due to the shower head itself needing to be changed. Texas is notorious for hard water. Pros: The people running this hotel were very nice and helpful. I did get the impression that they really do care about their business and are trying to make the best of it. Continental breakfast was nice. I enjoyed making my own Belgian waffles and watching the news. The room had a nice flat screen TV, microwave, and mini fridge, which would be nice for folks on an extended stay. This was a mostly decent budget room. The biggest downer was the noise from the freeway. But it wasn't in a bad neighborhood like many other budget motels. I would stay here again, overall it was a good deal.

When we got there it reeked off pot. Inside the room there was a hole in the bathroom door. One of our pillows even had blood stains. We immediately left and found somewhere else. On our way out we even saw some prostitutes trying to pick up some men.

So I guess it is an OK cheap highway motel, but that is it. The guy at the desk was awesome, but room reeled of smoke. Nice enough to get us a new room, but it also had an odd smell. TVs are tiny, old, and fuzzy. The clientele were "interesting" as well, with lawnmowers attached to their trucks and screaming drunks at 1 in the morning. I feel bad giving a bad review since they have really tried to make the place better (you can tell they just remodeled), but I still don't want people to think it is a nice place.
