From the moment I arrived I was blown away by an impressive room, and professional staff. Based upon reviews I decided to stay here. My room was spacious, as was the bed. The walk in shower was luxurious. View from my room was a wonderful look towards Texas Motor Speedway. Nathan at the front desk was a terrific host. Big Thank You to this location.
Great service team at bar and grille and we had time by the fire pit for drinks and horsdourves! Good continental breakfast. Nice rooms, tub (our bathroom is I’m under renovation...bath needed!). Recommend this place.
The location of this Marriott was ideal for my trip to Texas this week. I arrived late in the afternoon looking forward to enjoying what was promised as a scenic location. After navigating through the construction equipment and closed off areas, I made it to the front desk. The staff was friendly and prompt. Because of the virus management policies, no food was available in the lounge and everyone was wearing masks. The view out of the 10th floor window was a partially drained pool with a stark green tint. Construction debris littered the surrounding areas. Inside and outside this hotel isn’t ready for guests and certainly not at full price. This was a one and done visit to this Marriott location because it’s overpriced and under-delivered.
We stayed here several nights during the CORVID-19 pandemic, but I don't feel they tried to make everything work really well. There were wipes available near the entrance, but I didn't notice any bottles of hand sanitizer set out near the front desk. The gym, pool and food areas were closed as required by law, but they offered single serving breakfast items (milk, OJ, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, cereal) to make our stay comfortable. I slept very well in the bed. They are offering excess supplies (paper towels, TP, etc) for sale in the lobby to assist the local residents find scarce items. The hotel was being remodeled during our stay. Once this all settles down and the hotel is remodeled, I am confident it will be worth a 4 or 5 star rating.
I am a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member , and I stay in hotels 150-200 nights per year. I spent over $30k last year with the Marriott chain so I am well aware of their standards. This Hotel failed to meet my expectations at every level. They gave my Suite to another guest and blamed it on a “system error”. Highly suspicious. The Hotel also failed to make any compensation for their mistake. The Ambassador team @ Marriott took care of me and put me in another nearby Hotel. I would recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. They have no appreciation for their loyal customers who continually spend money with the Marriott brand.
