Long review ahead!! So this place will now hold a special spot in my heart. My boyfriend of 5 years proposed to me last night here!!! The hotel itself is beautiful. It was clean, easy to find and get into with the online keys, and the staff was also super helpful over the phone before we got there. Our room looked exactly like the photos, and overall it was gorgeous. I called the day before to add a bottle of champagne to the room, and it was ready and ice cold when we got there. Also, the bar staff downstairs was beyond sweet and accommodating! I only have one minor complaint being the body wash in the shower was empty, which made me sad because from what I could smell, it smelled amazing.
I stayed here for 4 night and was extremely happy. The hotel was quiet, clean and the people who work there are great. They were very accommodating for our business needs. We used the conference room on the 4th floor which had a great view and automatic shade if you need to block out the sunlight. For the evening time to wind down we enjoyed the cocktail lounge for a few drinks. Jessa the manager is great and very helpful. Highly recommended!!!
1) insufficient directions about where to enter hotel 2) insufficient directions about how to enter the double doors to get iinside 3) noisy. Noisy traffic, noisy room-all concrete, high ceiling. Sound reverberates. Could hear neighbors clearly next door. 4) no essential luxuries that would normally be provided at this high price: towels thin & extremely scratchy, no chair in the room, only bed & 2 tables that are on each side of bed. besides the tv in front of the bed. There isn’t anywhere to put luggage except on the floor. No coffee or coffee maker provided. A refrigerator is provided that makes a humming noise. 4) the windows are floor to ceiling panel slits about 8” wide that have no covering so with the early morning light & noise of traffic do not plan to sleep in at all. You won’t. 5) overall experience is -5, the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed. Why they can charge $250 per night for this is beyond me. It’s like one of those road motels that provide a bed & a bath. No more. I would never recommend anyone staying here.…
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Revel during a weekend family visit. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the concrete floors, steel furniture and the absence of a coffee maker. Not an auspicious introduction. As it turned out, every possible noise in the hotel is magnified by the harshness of the surroundings. There wasn’t a door closing on our floor that didn’t sound like a child slammed it in our room. What kind of am architect designs a hotel where every possible noise wakes up a sleeping guest? What kind of hotel charging the rates they charge doesn’t provide a coffee maker in the room? We had two disturbed nights of restless sleep, and this was with a white noise App going and ear plugs in (we should have been even more forewarned because earplugs were available in the bathroom). Without any staff on site (the hotel proudly makes this clear) and a joint party going on in several of the rooms on our floor, there was no chance at any quiet. Needless to say, we would not ever recommend this hotel for a Fort Worth visit.…
Will start by being positive and saying the person responding to texts and their web messaging service was extremely on top of it and responsive. Also, cool building and well located for Fort Worth and TCU going’s on. Was also very clean. Negatives - NO COFFEE. Have to go to coffee shop next door (which is a cool one), and that’s silly for a high quality, relatively expensive place. Also, noisy. They need some design help and so many ways they can soften the spaces. Needs rugs and/or carpet and generally more warmth. Street noise as well as can hear other room and even floor noise. Concrete and glass isn’t quiet, even if it looks cool! I give them credit for trying to disrupt and create a modern space and concept, but make some simply fixes.
The Hotel Revel is in a great location and has wonderful rooms and amenities. I will stay there again and highly recommend. There are plenty of options for dining and entertainment. It is close to everything.
I spent 5 nights at Hotel Revel with some girlfriends and we got spoiled with the modern luxury feel of the hotel all with the ease of using an app on our phone to come and go. We were well cared for by the concierge on call and got our room cleaned daily which hasn’t happened in over a year at other hotels since Covid. On the top floor is an in door and outdoor lounge where we enjoyed drinks and snacks provided by the hotel. I’d highly recommend and I’m a hotel snob!
Loved every party of the stay at Hotel Revel. Had a wedding in town, was perfect my guest and I. No problems checking in. Room was great. Location is super convenient…bathroom is super nice and great place to get ready for a night out on the town. Love this place!
Decided to stay based on location and access to Magnolia streets. That would give it 3 stars. Otherwise, while the building is new, the entrance seems warn already. Using the keycard is fine but they need to post or include instructions on how to validate parking (hint, you text a picture of your license to the offsite manager). The rooms are big but not well finished. Some of the trim around the windows looked unfinished as were the floors. While I appreaciate the styling, there was a lot of room and little seating. The couch had crumbs and the chair and ottoman were dirty. The break room had a small amount of water, topo chico and light snacks. The rest of the building is still underconstruction so between that and the noise level in the hall when people come and go were unacceptable. The minimalistic contruction also means you can hear the guests clearly in the next room. The concept has potential but if I am on my own at a place in managing my own check in, cleaning, valet, etc I would expect to pay much less. Would not stay again.…
Unable to gain access with the keyless app. Once we were in, we found out that the room we made a reservation for was given to someone else who rented out the entire upstairs for a party. We were given the room directly below them. This was not communicated to us prior to checking in. We were assured that the party would stop at 10:00. That is when the party actually started. Loud music, furniture being moved around making a loud screeching sound, constant banging of a door that led to the balcony and loud voices. Around 2:30 am the party ended, but the cleanup began with more moving of furniture and lots of glass being dumped into trash bags - we heard it all for another hour. The room was nice and clean, but it was impossible to sit and enjoy yourself with all the noise overhead. The lights were extremely bright and could not be dimmed. Even with the shades rolled down, there was exterior lighting that shined into the room. Sliding bathroom door took all your strength to close. The safety lock on the front door wasn't secured into the door frame. It's like no one checked the room to make sure it was comfortable and that everything was working properly. Wifi password nowhere to be found. The bed and the bathrobes were comfortable - too bad we couldn't sleep or enjoy the space.…
