This hotel looks tiny, with only four or five floors, compared to the giant buildings on either side! However, it is clean, comfortable and oh-so-convenient to the convention center - just across the street! It was also within walking distance of several restaurants and coffee places. The room was roomy and nicely appointed. I loved the layout of the bathroom! The bed was firm and the room looked out over a lovely small fountain and sculpture. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, although I can't say I like the mini-quiche. Biscuits were super, though! And, again it all looked fresh and clean. I would stay again!

My wife and I booked the Fairfield by Marriott at your downtown Fort Worth, Texas location at 1010 Houston Street for October 5, 2021 to October 8, 2021. We were in Fort Worth for my wife’s brother’s funeral. Upon going to room 213 we noticed that the carpet was dirty and had stains all over it. We contacted the front desk and they gave us another room, 215. When we went to this room the carpet was just as dirty. I saw one of the cleaning staff and showed her the carpet and she said she would notify the General Manager, Brandi Ragster. She later told us the carpet cleaning machine was broke. After 30 minutes no one contacted us so I called the front desk. The receptionist at the front desk said there was nothing they could do because all of the carpet in the hotel was dirty. I said I would contact the corporate office with a complaint, so she said let her talk to the General Manager. She came back to the phone and said the manager stated that the only thing she would do is give us our money back and we could find somewhere else to stay. This was not a option for us since we are from Tulsa, Oklahoma and trying to find another place at such short notice was difficult, even though we searched online. We travel several times a year and this was our 3rd trip to Fort Worth in a month in which we stayed at a hotel in downtown Ft. Worth. The room was not cleaned after the 1st night. The beds were made and fresh towels were supplied after the 2nd night, however, the carpet was not vacuumed. Kernels of popcorn were still on the floor. I am a Marriott Rewards Member and I am very disappointed with the room and service we received. We have pictures of the carpet and will be happy to forward them by email if you desire to see them.

From the beginning the staff was full of No’s. If your a drinker, the Bar was long and up front. The rooms were clean, the beds were uncomfortable and the toilet paper was rough. The Breakfast wasn’t much to mention. The only convenience with this Hotel, is it’s location.

This would almost have 5 stars except that they do not have a pool and also the sound proofing is low so I was kept awake from inconsiderate guests talking loudly in the hall after midnight. Please keep in mind that when you walk down a hotel hall you can be heard by other guests. But overall I was extremely happy with this place. You can literally walk across the street to the Convention Center so if you have an event there, it is the perfect place to stay. There is NO onsite parking and you do have to use the valet or park in a garage nearby, but for downtown Ft. Worth, this is pretty much the norm. You will rarely see me be happy with showers and water pressure but this is one of the few hotels I have ever liked the shower. They have thoughtfully added a foot shelf so there is someplace to put your leg up in the shower, and the pressure was decent with plenty of hot water. The atmosphere is very nice and the decor is lovely. I especially liked the breakfast room. It is very spacious and pleasant, and even though the choices were minimal, it did include eggs and coffee and fruit, and other bread items. Another reason it gets 4 stars, though, is that the breakfast is only served from 7-9am, and this was very early for a Sunday morning. It should definitely go to 10am on the weekends. I needed to attend an event at the convention center on Sunday and it was a perfect place to stay without breaking the bank. The other nearby hotel that was advertised as the partner hotel for the event was almost twice the price. I don't think I missed out on anything and saved a bunch a money. Definitely meets my princess standards.

Good stay mainly, but upon our return to our room, it was not made up, not even clean, fresh towels. Front desk said that they do not clean every day, and didn't say when they would. I said at least new towels? They said I would need to come to the front desk and get them. What??????? Pandemic shortened the staff or something? If this is currently or forever hotel policy, shouldn't they say this when a person books it, or reduce the rate up front? Not a policy that guests expect or deserve. Refund? All hotels and motels do this? Also, the grab n go breakfast was disappointing. Staff was great!

Stayed here for one night and you can’t beat the location. Forth worth downtown is very walkable so I had no problem being a couple blocks for Sundance square. It’s an easy 10 min walk. The hotel was surprisingly very loud. I was on floor 2 and heard every car drive by. You’d think they would sound proof a bit more. Room was typical Fairfield, nothing blows you away but you know what you are going to get. Cold AC warm shower and clean. So no complaints from me there. When I arrived the front desk ladies were extremely friendly and were working hard. Had a line and consistently throughout the day they were incredible. Never a bother for anyone who went to them. I wish I had their names. One had long hair braided or dread locks. The other lady had very short hair. High high high kudos to them. Only thing I hate is paying for parking. 18$ for the sketchy garage below the hotel where thankfully I was able to find parking. But when I left not a spot available. I just think parking is the biggest rip off. If price is right. Would go back.

This Fairfield Inn offered most things I needed during my stay. I had to attend an event at the Fort Worth Convention Center, and the hotel was located right across the street. It has a parking lot, but you have to valet with no self parking option. Parking was about $28 (per 24 hours) with in-and-out option if you are a guest of the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly, and the front desk staff had good knowledge of the surrounding area. The hotel is on the small side so they do have a lot of amenities like a pool or a restaurant. However, they did have a small gym, bar with ample seating, and there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. Internet wifi was fast and the room I had had ample desk and lighting for doing some work. The room was clean and looked relatively new. The king size bed I had was comfortable. It had a mini-frig and a microwave which can be used to warm up a breakfast sandwich they gave as a complimentary breakfast. I was on the 2nd floor facing the street. Although there was some street noise, it wasn't loud enough to wake me up. I would recommend this hotel if you're planning a stay in the downtown Fort Worth area.

We booked and paid in advance (using Marriott points and free nights) for 5 nights. A bit complicated, as Linda and I both have accounts. As we checked in we made sure the person could see all 5 nights via several confirmations saying we wanted to stay in the same room and not move for each different reservation. Fine until the 3rd PM. Manager calls Linda and said we had not checked out. We were two hours away and said check all reservations for both of us. She finds mine for days 4&5, but nothing for day 3. She has to charge us for the room. L said she has our Marriott credit card go ahead and we will settle when we get back. Later I tried to talk with her saying she should check with marriott reservations. She said I should show her the confirmations. I deleted as we had checked in. So I call Marriott to file a claim. Someone messed up (not us) and the rep gave us a claim # and said giv e it to the manager, and that the manager should call Marriott to discuss the claim. We were out of it. Well the manager said this was just a claim number and did not resolve be the problem, and we would still be charged. I said we were done, and she should do whatever, and I will deal with it after returning home. I will now write Marriott. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Seems as though they have hot water issues. 3 different days no hot water. 3 complaints, and even on the 5th day, I took a tepid shower. This not the only Fairfield I have had hot wAter issues with. The other is just like this FW inn. Just a few years old. We love the marriott chain and have always enjoyed great service. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE Since our reservations were each for less than 3 days, we got no room service. WE HAD TO BEG THE FRONT DESK FOR TOWELS. SHE CHECKED AND SAID WE HAD NOT STAYED THE REQUIRED 3 DAYS. WANT TOILET PAPER, BEST BRIBE A MAID. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. Yes there’s COVID, so no breakfast, but a grab and go. OOPS they had no napkins OOPs they ran out of lids for the coffe. THERE”S MORE. If you must stay after the above, here’s a good tip. Hotel Parking is very expensive. Down load the FW parking app and park on the street. Free on weekends and from 6PM to 8 AM

I travel for business the majority of the month & hands down this hotel is the cleanest, most attentive property I’ve stayed at in Central Texas. Catlyn (SP?) the general mgr runs a fine oiled machine and goes above and beyond to ensure all guests receive a 5 star experience. Did I mention the decor at this hotel is some of the best I’ve ever seen and I travel a lot. Front desk staff always greeted me with a smile on their face and made me feel like I was at home. Highly recommend seeing Catlyn and her team for all your Central Texas/DFW travel needs. You will not be disappointed!

The GM apparently doesn’t think it’s unsafe or creepy for a guest to open their room door at 10 p.m. (using their keycard) and find a male staff member standing there in dim lighting. (Changing a lightbulb without any evidence of an actual lightbulb on his person.) She also is not concerned that the front desk staff associated another cell phone and/or room number with the credit card given to them for incidental expenses (over $100 in fraudulent charges). Nor is she concerned about leaving the property in the hands of a newly trained staff member with no estimate of return or contact number where she could be reached if needed. All fair and valid points listed in my review of our stay which was prompted by an email request. My review apparently prompted her less than customer focused response to me via email. (Thank you for the supporting evidence of your lack of management skills or tact.) NEVER will I EVER stay at this property again!!
