Attended a conference nearby and I was intrigued with Etta's based on the reviews. Like what the others have said, it is a bed and breakfast and I think it's a great option for those who want a more homey feel to their accommodation and have their basic needs met. I stayed in Ben's Bedroom and I loved the comfy...

Etta's Place has such potential due to location and history, but it completely misses the mark! Service is subpar, no personal attention to guests and breakfast was very disappointing. The quality of our stay is not worth repeating!

We stayed in Annie's room. It was roomy and comfortable, but both mornings we were there we were woken at 7am by very loud trash trucks emptying the restaurant garbage. I guess being right next door to Reata has it's benefits and drawbacks. The blinds in our room were also not black out by any means so 7am was very...

Etta's place is like a boutique hotel in a central location in Fort Worth. All staff were very friendly to deal with. The breakfast was lovely and surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Safe to walk around at night. Once we figured out parking it was a breeze. You need to buzz on arrival to check in

We stayed here for two nights with another couple. The location is perfect for walking around Fort Worth and a short drive from the Stockyards. The downside is that there's no on site parking and the parking garage nearby was expensive. You can also hear some street noise, which we mostly slept through, but it woke up our friends. The...

I was on a solo trip to DFW and decided to try staying downtown FW; so glad I did. I was on foot so the proximity to Sundance Square and Molly the Trolley really worked for me. I stayed at Etta's for four nights during the week. I would guess weekends might get a little loud judging from how well...

I wanted to give Etta's a 2nd chance. Here's why: it has a great location, the rooms are larger than most hotel rooms downtown and it's less congested than other downtown hotels. The breakfast is brought to the table after you sit and is tasty. It's like the bed and breakfast that time forgot however. Though some could call it...

Though I didn't spend a lot of time in Etta's Place while awake, it was a lovely respite while on a two-day business trip to Ft. Worth. Arriving late was no issue as they have a system in place to pick up your key along with a letter with all the pertinent details about your room, breakfast times, etc. The...

Every year I attend a conference in a different city where I try to stay "outside the box." This year it was Etta's Place." It's right in the middle of the Sundance area in Fort Worth, so an easy walk to shops and restaurants. You're buzzed in when you arrive, and get the full tour on the way to your...

I didn't hear a peep all night so I slept like a baby. It was lovely. No flushing toilets, no early morning showers, no slamming doors or load TV's. Fabulous!! I stayed in the Lily Pad. The decor was very "grandma's house" and I love that each room is named. The service is excellent and the breakfasts are made to...
