Hill Country Casitas offers specialty lodging in the Texas Hill Country. Ten Casitas, or small homes, are scattered across the 13 acres of cascading hills providing great views. All Casitas have large covered porches, kitchens and most have fireplaces. A Ranch House just down the street is available too. A grand Pavilion provides meeting space and an event venue. On the grounds, guests can enjoy the swimming pool and hot tub, corn hole, volley ball and hiking trails. Hawk's Shadow Winery is around the corner in walking distance. Meeting space and wedding packages are available. Dog friendly!

This was our third visit to the Casitas and I fall more and more in love with the property every time I visit! The room has everything you could need and more! It is the best spot to unplug and enjoy the hill country views. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to vacation!

The setting is beautiful, the casita was luxurious and the whole compound is so well thought out. We appreciated the no hassle check-in. The casita was stocked with all of the amenities you would need. When we did have one problem with the grill it was quickly resolved by providing us a new one. We especially loved the fireplace on the deck. As a bonus we also got our kitty fix with some "Frank time!" Went as a couple for a short Hill Country break, but this would be an awesome spot for a family event. Would definitely stay again.

We have been visiting the Hill Country Casitas for several years as a regular getaway place just 45 minutes outside of Austin. Featuring beautiful views of the hills, each of the Casitas have their own personality. Sized for different needs, each Casita is well designed for comfort with well selected furnishings and finishes. Most have outdoor fireplaces, which are wonderful for gathering around on a chilly evening. All of the Casitas are very comfortable. However, for couples, I would highly recommend springing extra for the very private "Pauline" Casita, which is the most private. Located at the top of the hilltop, the Pauline features a large soaking tub and double shower. The views are spectacular! If the Pauline is booked up, there are others that are comparable. Recently, Hill Country Casitas added a large pool and spa, which are great for warm months. Other amenities include a large outdoor pavilion, a retreat center, firepit, and outdoor game area. Hill Country Casitas is also adjacent to the wonderful Hawk Shadow winery which we recommend for the tastings which are held on an outdoor terrace overlooking the canyon. If you are a "dog person", Hill Country Casitas also is very "dog friendly". The Owners are very friendly and the place is always very clean. I can' recommend it more highly for couples, family get togethers, wedding celebrations, or corporate retreats. Five Stars! Check it out! …

Amazing stay! Highly recommend for a quick get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy city lives! We drove in from Houston. Perfect get away! Thoroughly enjoyed our casita! The property and ambiance were wonderful! Loved the fireplace on private porch that’s good for sipping wine or coffee and tea with a good book. So peaceful and restful. The rooms and space are wonderful with small kitchenette set up to accommodate a dinner lunch or breakfast without leaving the property.

We reserved the property with the Ranch House for our daughter’s wedding so the bridal party and groom’s family could all be together for wedding weekend. Everyone had a fantastic time and loved their accommodations! It was he perfect balance of group activities while still having some privacy. We made use of the fir pit each evening and it was so much fun making s’mores, sharing stories and playing games. I think everyone had a visit from Frank who made his rounds welcoming out group. We loved coffee on the patio and the chance to take a few deep breaths from all the wedding planning and hectic schedule. We were 7 minutes from our wedding venue and that was awesome given the number of trips back and forth during set up and getting dressed. Time and time again our group enjoys the rugged beauty of the Texas hill country at the amazing Hill Country Casitas. The casitas are immaculate and charming, the views are breathtaking, the staff is friendly, and the owners are very hospitable and accommodating. Our group enjoys gathering at the pavilion and relaxing by the fire. You can not go wrong with any of the casitas. All are beautiful, well decorated, fantastic bathrooms and lovely porches. We look forward to our next stay at the Hill Country Casitas!

Such a lovely get away for some relaxation and quiet in gorgeous, comfortable setting. So very pleased with cleanliness, availability of items necessary for easy stay with our pup, great areas to explore, relaxing at pool, enjoying breakfast and dinner on our casita patio even in Texas August, and the stars truly are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas! What a beautiful setting for our weekend getaway. We stayed in Townes, one of the studio casitas with our German shepherd dog and it was just amazing. We were right near the pool and just a short walk through the trees to the pavilion where we had our morning coffee. It’s like being in a treehouse and the morning sun is gorgeous. The casita stayed cool in the Texas summer heat and there were plenty of places to check out in Dripping Springs and also right around the corner!

We had about a month t find a place for our company retreat and organize, and I was worried we wouldn't find one. Despite this tight timeline, Ron and Mary were extremely accommodating and were willing to help us find catering, make sure everyone had a place to sleep, etc. We really could not ask for better hosts. The venue itself and the casitas surpassed all expectations! The area is beautiful, the venue spacious with plenty of activities to do, and the casitas themselves are extremely cozy. Pulling off this retreat was a huge deal for our company, and everyone cherished their time at Hill Country Casitas. We might be back some day. Thanks Ron and Mary!
