Not entirely sure what the regular rate is as both times we've stayed there we got a great Hotwire deal (maybe because of the season). In any event, the rooms appear to have been recently renovated as the carpeting looks fairly new, the beds are...More
We stayed at the Westin for the 6th time this past weekend and the first time in 6 years and had a decent stay. The hotel is safe and clean and the staff was nice and helpful. It is connected to the Galleria mall and...More

Thank you for staying with us so many times over the past six years, and thank you for telling us about your most recent experience. I am thrilled you continue to come back, but am disappointed you don't enjoy your stays.
Hotel room on preferred floor was updated, large, and easy to work in. The location of the hotel is adjacent and connected to the Galleria. Wifi signal was strong in the room. Never had to leave the hotel for dinner due to having great restaurants...More
An outstanding property, well managed, excellent service, great workout room and all of that at a premier shopping location centrally located. It truly is a "Dallas gem". I recommend it to anyone heading to Dallas on business or pleasure. Book over hotwire for better prices,...More
Pros: the hotel is definitely lovely. Beautiful decor, clean rooms, friendly service, and convenience of being located in the mall itself.
Cons: you can get more free amenities at a Best Western or Holiday Inn for a fraction of the cost and just as clean...More

I don't know about others and their experiences. Most people seemed like they were in groups and more worried about weddings and conferences. I just know that we were very disappointed. It was literally one thing after another. The valet almost caused us to wreck our new Lexus. The front desk acted like they couldn't care less. The AC was not on in our room (and this is Dallas so it was like walking into a sauna). There was no hot tub (we were celebrating our anniversary so this was disappointing). The escalator between the second and third floor was not working. The chairs in the room were literally like sitting on concrete. Even the toilet paper was like the cheap kind we had in the Army. I honestly have no idea how this is rated the 6th best hotel out of 205 in Dallas. It has to be due to the Galleria and not the hotel itself.
