My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip. It was the Marriott facility closest to the locations we visited during the weekend. Service was nice and no fuss. Dinner at the restaurant OceanAire (we had reservations) was suite nice.
I liked the location. Very nice to go to the lobby and enter the mall directly. The room they gave us seemed to be handicapped accessible which had a lot of room. The bathroom was a little smaller. We were placed on a lower floor so we had a inside hotel view from our window. Housekeeping never stopped by and asked if we needed towels or anything during our three day stay. It would have been nice to have them check in on us but maybe that’s their policy now. The only thing that was concerning is that the walls are paper thin. You could hear everything that the person in the room next to you was saying, and probably vice versa. Not very great for privacy. Otherwise all else was ok.
I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in February....It was a great meeting place for the conference, but also a very nice place to stay...My room was immaculate and updated....Bed was comfortable and nice large shower with quality toiletries provided...I loved that I could get dinner in the mall and then get my exercise by walking. There were several great restaurants in the enclosed area and was nice not to leave the hotel to find food to eat....Mall hours were restricted and businesses closed at 8pm, but that was fine...Overall a great stay and would stay there again anytime!
Really nice hotel, friendly staff, 2nd floor restaurant excellent for breakfasts, lunch, dinner and great staff too. Ideal location for shopping mall with loads of excellent shops and food places . 12 minutes drive to downtown Dallas, plus gas monkey garage within 7 miles. Room excellent, spotless and well equipped. Would recommend.
I spent 5 days at this property while attending a continuing education conference in Dallas. The staff was wonderful and the room I had was very roomy and clean. I was able to take advantage of the gym and found it to be more than adequate and well-kept. Our classes were held in the conference center. We were provided with breakfast and an afternoon snack each day. There was a good variety of breakfast sandwiches and snacks thoughout the course of the week, and everything was tasty. One of the biggest perks of this property is its proxiity to the Galleria Mall and the local restaurants. There are some wonderul dinner spots within 5 minutes, and there are some great lunch options in the mall. The views from the upper floors are also quite nice. This is definately a hotel I'd be happy to return to.…
I cannot begin to rave about the staff here! They are all wonderful and even thought it was New Years Eve, everyone kept their cool and were so kind! Shout out to front desk Charmain! The room was great, had fun walking to the Galleria. Already book for NYE 2022. Room was clean and I had requested extra towels etc that were already there when I arrived.
Perfect check-in experience. The desk clerk was beyond accommodating. Room was very clean with plenty of space!! Located in the mall, the parking can be a challenge to find a space directly in front of the hotel, but there's plenty of free parking in the garage. Or you can valet and the guys at the stand are fantastic! Plenty of options for food right at the mall or in the area. (Grand Lux is right next door with great food). And Maple Leaf Diner is a must for breakfast just down the road.
Top notch customer service from Neyna and Latisha we have last-minute changes with our groups and they were able to accommodate with no questions asked we really appreciate all the support. That I can do attitude is what we need the most, they deserve the hero of the day award.
The stay at the hotel was great. I took my fiancé at this hotel for three nights. The location is really great, along with the rooms and pool. The parking is crazy to find around this hotel. They should have designated parking for hotel guest only. I’ve been to hotels that had designated parking for the hotel only. The check out was what ruined the hotel experience. My fiancé went downstairs to get a luggage cart and asked one of the hotel staff for one. The gentleman told her if she was done being packed, if not then she can’t have one. She said we are finishing things up and could take just less than five minutes. Well the gentleman said she can’t have one until we are done being packed. Then asked my fiancé if she has a room here. I think the gentleman was just rude and honestly sexist to her. Please, keep the staff in check to welcome the guests in the hotel. I came down to get a luggage cart with no problem and when we check out I complained it to the front desk lady and all she said is they are strict about the carts. Well if my fiancé had a problem to get a cart, how come I didn’t have a problem. Overall, great location but disappointing staff.…
Great check in staff late at night. parking is easy and free, room was great. 24 hour basic room service, or dsome sort of vending / snacks / drinks would have been great, and the showers are tired and could use updating. my room had no tub so if you need that make sure to ask about that.
