Matthew, Asia, Beth and Alex were amazing! They were extremely helpful I cannot believe how well they treated me I most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and de stress I did a self care get away.
Comfortable, clean, and inviting spaces! Very convenient location! Too bad we only got to stay one night. I would have loved to have stayed longer and taken advantage of the pool. We will definitely consider staying here again if we need a hotel in Dallas.
Rooms are passable. Went through two coffee makers, neither of which worked. Valet parking is set up in the prime parking spots, causing the hotel customers to park behind the hotel and make the longer walk to the front. Front desk staff was nice but really did not put the customer first.
The Beeman was marketed as a trendy slight upscale hotel. Our experience was comparable to a very average chain hotel. There was nothing tangible in the room that told us about services in the hotel and nothing we could find online that helped direct us. Our check-in experience was a little chaotic and the front desk worker seemed flustered and overwhelmed. I enjoy the aesthetic of the stay, but beyond that it didn’t feel like it stood out and I would think it would considering it’s not a chain hotel.
Great room, value, and price. Friendly staff, easy checkout, perfect ambiance and style. Would definitely stay there again. Centrally located off of 75 with access to tons of restaurants, etc. Very impressed!
I cut my 4 day reservation to 2 days after my poor experience at the Beeman. It was not quite the "Hotel from Hell", but here is why I left early: Parking - When I drove in Friday, all the spaces anywhere near the entrance were reserved for Valet (with many empty). I chose to park my own car so was forced to walk the longer distance from my parking spot with my bags, (none of these spaces were available on Saturday night when I returned from dinner around 10pm.) Location of my room: At 83 I'm still functional, but upon registering I requested my room as close to the entrance as possible to bring in my bags. The receptionist misunderstood my request and assigned me a room at the farthest walk from your only bank of elevators. When I saw the location, I made the long "hike" back to the front dest for reassignment which they cheerfully did . Also I was informed that 2 entrances (with room key access) near parking had been sealed from entrance by your security, further irritating folks trying to enter from your parking lot. I travel to Dallas often. For my 4 day stay I decided to try the Beeman although it was slightly more expensive as it was close to my daughter's restaurant, one of the finest in the SMU area. Because of the poor experience after 2 days I checked out to go up the expressway to LaQuinta where parking was much more visitor friendly, (packing and unpacking twice). After checking in to the Beeman I had a two-hour wait in my room before joining friends for dinner. The TV remote wouldn't work. I called the front dest and they said engineering would be up to fix it. I left for dinner after 1+ hours w/o TV and the remote being fixed. It was working when I returned that night. When I checked in, I requested your daily room-cleaning service. My room wasn't touched while I was there. Possibly this is due to the change in room #, but my request wasn't changed. …
Many hotels today include complimentary breakfast (and even a social hour with complimentary beer and wine in the evening). Complimentary breakfast is a must and I missed that; I usually don't stay in a hotel if it doesn't have it. Also, the mattress was old (or damaged) and too soft.
Love the fragrance on 9th floor . Restaurant drinks, food and service were excellent. Enjoyed the fitness room. This is our go to hotel whenever we visit our son at SMU -unfortunately he’s about to graduate so we won’t be visiting anymore.
The Beeman is my favorite hotel to stay in Dallas. The lobby and guest rooms are gorgeous and always clean. The staff are friendly, professional, and welcoming. The restaurant and bar are wonderful. The wait staff are great!
Hot water was not working in shower, female clerk was rude when I asked for a few more towels she replied ‘you don’t have none in your room?’ and was reluctant to get them, Wi-Fi was extremely slow, bar staff was nice and drinks were good. Overall experience was disappointing
