The lobby and hotel itself are absolutely beautiful, however my room was lacking in both housekeeping and the coffee maker did not work. The line for the coffee shop was over 1/2 hour wait for hours each morning.
I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The hotel accommodations were what I would expect and the staff was very helpful and made my stay an enjoyable one. I did enjoy the restaurants and other accommodations at the hotel. Thanks to all at the Hyatt Regency Dallas
2 conventions, rude people. Tornado warning and hail. What more could you ask? Beds were worn, horrible pillows, very little room cleaning. Disappointing to say the least.bellhop and valet people were outstanding!
Stayed here for TBRU and thought it was a lovely hotel. Room was immaculately clean and had a great view of the city. Front desk staff, cleaning people and workers at the 24/7 coffee shop were all very kind. The hotel design is cool with impressive elevator views and the reunion tower views are absolutely crazy. The only thing that scared me were the crazy high views over a balcony area on our floor that had zero guardrails or protection and all I could imagine was Final Destination 6. One drunken slip and it would be death. Kind of scary. On a somewhat more serious note, our friend who was also staying at the hotel for the event used the valet parking service during his stay and he received his car on the final day of his stay with a completely flat tire. It was not flat when we brought it to the valet the previous night and the valet person was beyond argumentative and rude about the situation offering very little help and refusing to take any kind of responsibility. Thankfully our friend had an app that showed that the tire pressure was fine prior to the valet parking and finally they offered to refund his parking after at least ten minutes of arguing, but honestly, overhearing this and the complete lack of customer service and evasion of responsibility put a bad taste in my mouth even though it wasn’t even my car. They finally offered to pump the tire so we could get the car back to the apartment ten minutes away but it was like pulling teeth. In addition, during the whole argument, another valet came up and demanded we move our friends car further up (even though none of us were in the driver seat) and after telling him the tire was flat and our friend was dealing with it at the valet window at the moment, he literally said nothing and walked away. Rude. Overall a nice stay with a sour ending. A little surprised that the valets are allowed to act the way they did considering the high level of customer services we received during the rest of our stay. It wasn’t even our car but it was shocking to see the way the valets behaved toward our friend. Not cute.…
I had an awesome stay with Hyatt it was for business but I would like to use them in the future for personal. Thank you to the Concierge and Valet for making it a pleasant stay by being knowledgeable, attentive, and mannerable.
Check in was smooth and the room was nice, but the parking. First off they have 2 different self park lots. The first one is somewhat close to the hotel, but the second one is the tower parking lot. It has no security and is quite the walk to the hotel. They do have a parking garage, but that is only for valet. Not feeling comfortable walking with my children from the tower lot I valeted my car. When I received my receipt after check out they had charged me for both self ($22 plus tax per day) and valet ($45 plus tax per day) for a single car. When staying multiple nights it adds up. When I contacted the hotel the first time I was hung up on. The second time I was able to leave a message with the appropriate person. She did call me back the following day refunding the self park fees. It just left a bad taste in my mouth with this property. There was no apology from the property at any point, it felt like this is just something that happens. I stay in a lot of hotels and their customer service could improve when resolving their mistakes. Unless you are attending a event here I would recommend the Omni when spending this kind of money. …
This is a very nice hotel. Be prepared to pay for parking and possibly waiting a while for your car if they are busy. The room was nice with a big tv but there were scratches on my window, headboard and in the sinnk.
Had a great experience at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas. The staff was friendly and courteous and went out of their way to assist me. The room was spacious and nice and away from the main hub of the hotel.
This is worth the stay. Parking was easy compared to other downtown hotels. I got the breakfast and self parking room package. Made parking easy with your room key. Staff in all areas was wonderful. I got a city room view and at night it’s stellar.
Everyone at the Hyatt was amazing except the wait staff in the bar area. It took an act of congress to get a drink during down time. The valet parking is amazing with little to no wait time even during high influx times.
