My friends and I booked through a second party after seeing beautiful pictures, we weren’t looking for anything on a 5 star level but decent enough for a one night stay but this was WAY below decent. While we were there, there were homeless looking people begging for money & weird smells throughout the whole place. The inside looks like a nightclub and everything looks so dark and gloomy. The bathroom counter in our room had stains and the window had a brown haze and was also cracked.Staff was nice but the hotel and location itself is overall very sketchy and dirty looking...

False advertising. This hotel really needs to update their hotel pictures as well as the services available to visitors . The locations itself is just not safe and the place really needs a good cleaning

This was overall the dingiest, darkest, Dirtiest hotel that I have ever had to stay at and the Jets in the whirlpool tub were full of this fecal matter looking stuff that I could not get how many times I ran water through it

I looked on the internet and went through a third party to book. Well, the pictures are lovely and would make you really want to stay at tis hotel. I was so disappointed after driving from one city for 2 hours then catching a flight. Then getting a rent a car to get to the hotel. Get to the hotel and the lobby was ok but the floor that I was put on was disgusting the urine smell was overwhelming on the whole floor. I opened the door and turned on the lights and cigarette burns were on the sheets no comforter was on the bed and the room smelled horrible. I called the front desk they switched my rooms and then put me in a room four doors down and I already explained to them that the hall smelled like urine. the next room had stains and the air conditioner was loud and the bathroom was not cleaned. This hotel was absolutely horrible. I checked out as quick as i checked in.

We were given rooms here by American Airlines as a result of some supposed 'glitch' in their automated system which kept us from taking off for about an hour which caused us to miss our connecting flight in Dallas. They had a shuttle to the hotel from the airport which was fine, no complaints. Only awkward thing was the driver mentioning tipping him and the hotel staff more than once during the ride. Once at the Hotel the staff was pleasant and quickly assigned us rooms (we had 3). So far, so good. This is where things started going down hill. Walking to our rooms we noticed the not so pleasant odors in the halls, like a mix of cigarette smoke and musty stale unclean carpet smell. The color scheme of the halls reminded me of some type of correctional facility and not a comfy welcoming hotel. The suspended ceilings were also a little low adding to the awkwardness. The feel was somewhat uncomfortable, like you should to be constantly looking over your shoulder for any approaching sketchy strangers. By the time we reached our rooms my family was pretty weirded out, telling silly stories of being abducted like in the movie Hostel or waking up missing organs. Once in the rooms I was actually upset and amazed that American Airlines would send paying customers to a place like this. First there was a musty stale stench and the AC was just adequate. When the AC cycled on and off is sounded like it was going to fall out of the wall. The beds were on some plywood boxes painted black. the furniture seemed like they were repurposed from a worn out Vegas hotel then painted black also. Surprisingly the mattresses did not have bed bug covers on them. Most of the linen seemed stained and fairly worn out. I checked all of the mattresses and bed areas as good as I could for indications of bugs which I did not see thankfully. I only found old candy wrappers and other signs of minimal tidiness/cleanliness. The lighting around the bed did not have lamp shades like in the hotels website pics, just bulbs in the receptacles. The bathrooms were barely functional with paint flaking from the ceiling and just an overall absolutely worn out appearance. I actually wanted to Uber it to another hotel for peace of mind, but being tired and late, the wife just wanted to go to bed, wake up early and get out of there. Two of the family were uncomfortable enough about the place that they stayed in our room for the night. We went to the 'sports bar' to get some food with the $12 meal vouchers provided by America Airlines. The bar tender there was very nice and probably the highlight of the entire experience. We all got burgers w/ fries which was actually pretty good. While waiting for our food we were trying to figure out the 'theme' of the decor. Most of it was black including all of the curtains. It really reminded me of some side street strip club in the old part of Vegas. I will say, this hotel really got their monies worth from the photographer who shot the pics for their website. Whoever did them really was able to alter the reality of what awaits you if you choose to stay here. In the end, I would absolutely not pay to stay here, nor would I voluntarily stay here for free if I were ever to have another incident with an airlines like this in Dallas. This is just my honest impression of the experience we had.
