Probably the worst place I've ever stayed at. The rooms and the hallways were not clean enough (for example, there was some dry blood and mold on the wall) and there was a terrible smell, but even that clearly wasn't the biggest issue. The main problem was the weird, sketchy people hanging around in the hallways, the lobby and the...

Avoid this hotel. The staff were unhelpful and didn't communicate fully with us. We booked this room for the sole reason to chill out and relax by the pool only to find that it was closed when we tried to use it. Also we missed breakfast as we weren't told at check in the times for breakfast. Also the key...

The room was comfortable and clean but we did have a hard time getting towels and bathroom tissue. No phone in the room so you had to go down to the desk for any supplies or concerns. They were doing all kinds of work on the hotel while I was there but didn't inconvenience much at all, the only problem...

Couldn't really decide what to make of staying here. For one, it was in a terrible neighborhood, with some very sketchy acting residents. Some people looked very clean and respectable, others looked like they could've been homeless, and everywhere in between. It's pretty run down, but the room was pretty nice for paying so little for the room. We only...

We arrived and the hotel looks massive, the area is a bad area of dallas, even before walking inside, the junkies hanging out under the tree just outside of the hotel were indication already of a bad booking (it was booked for me so..) Both halls and inside the room there is the same smell you can find in some...

How could you allow an armed security guard whom you employ to rob by gunpoint your patrons and pepper spray people? This is what you did and a formal complaint has been lodged against you because you continue to do this. The power of social media will destroy your business reputation if you continue to all this to occur

I do not normally share certain things however I think it's important to understand what's happening here.

The owner of this Regency hotel is allowing African American people and Hispanic people to rent rooms, once they have their money, the employed Caucasian security guard goes into the room with pepper spray and mace and robs the people taking their money while threatening to shoot them and pepper spray then then they are kicked out of the room and not given refunds, then re-rent the same room to someone else. In essence doubling profits for one room, harassing patrons and allowing their employee to literally at gun point rob young adults is horrible. This happened just a few nights ago and while a group of young men coalition leaders were coming to talk to the owner, be present while the police come to take a report without the young men that were robbed feeling intimidated and ask the owner about what he's allowing to occur, the security was caught in the act of pepper spraying a Hispanic lady after trying to sexually assault the lady's 16 year old daughter. The security guard left the establishment after these gentleman started to confront him and the guard was not apprehended. The police arrived and took a formal complaint. The owner with knowledge that this was occurring would become an accessory to robbery.

Do not go to any hotel that treats their patrons this way. Ensure your children do not go whether they are young adults or a grown person seeking overnight refuge while traveling or trying to get out of the rain or having an overnight birthday party.. Could be a number of reasons they are there. This is deplorable that young people are done this way. Thank you gentleman for standing up to injustice the right way. Not all of us are willing or able but each generation has someone that is!!
