NUMBER OF ROOMS
Let's face it, one of the most important qualities of a hotel is your ability to get a good night's sleep. The king bed, duvet, and pillows were all so comfortable that I was able to get a good sleep. This is rare for me in a strange place (hotel). The room was also reasonably quiet without a lot of noise from the hallway. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite a distance from the airport though, so that may be a consideration since an uber was about $50. On the downside the hotel could definitely improve on the restaurant offering which was lacking in my opinion.
I took a chance and booked a room here using my favorite coupon site, despite the sketchy reviews. I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied by the end of our stay. The staff was very friendly and the room was immaculate. I didn’t utilize room service, but the bar experience was great. Just minutes away from the mall and restaurants, this is an excellent launch pad for your Dallas experience. This property wears the Sheraton name well, we will be back!
Ha saw like 5 roaches in room & restroom during one night stay. Not just one! Good indication that this property isnt really doing the right thing for pest control. I almost thought i was staying in motel6 or worse. Not recommended
I am a Marriott Titanium, and have quite extensive experience with their properties; especially, the former Starwood ones. Sheraton was always pretty far down on my list of brands to stay with, but I thought I would give this one a try after I'd heard about the renovations. I travel to this area often - staying at the Westin Park Central and Le Meridien - and I'll have to add this Sheraton to my regular hotels now. The lobby is more of a hub of activity now, making the arrival into the hotel a bit more lively. The rooms are fully-renovated and are looking amazing. They did a nice blend of contemporary furnishings, hardwood flooring and a really modern and spacious bathroom. And I was really happy to see a glass-enclosed shower! The linens and bedding are very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep each night. I also was impressed by the hotel's fitness center. While not large, it has brand new, state-of-the-art equipment. It was everything I needed for my workouts. The staff were fine - no one really stood out - and the housekeeping did a great job of keeping my room up. My only quibbles are with the shady patrons staying at the hotel on the weekend - I can only imagine weekends attract lower rates and a sketchier crowd. I was also disappointed that the parking lot gates were kept open most of the time I was there. Why charge for parking, if people can just come and go? I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It felt like home as soon as I got settled. I'm hoping Marriott is taking the other Sheratons in this direction. I'll definitely be back on one of my next visits.…
You can not reach a live person what so ever. We possibly left a very expensive pair of men’s cowboy boots, needed to know if they were left in the Lobby of the Hotel during checkout. Numerous calls and messages left with no return phone call. 800 Hotel number reservationists tried to help but could not reach anyone as well. Oh and as usual they did not attach my Marriott Bonvoy number to this stay, this is a common accuracy with Marriott. Reservationists recommended calling the Hotel because that would have to enter it. Really???? Time to move my business travel to Hilton which is A LOT.
