Good Stay but found it very inconvenient that debit cards were not accepted by ATM - no way to tip the Bellman/valet - I often travel with ZERO cash - and hotel had no way to advance petty cash and place on bill

Ten out of ten for valet services. Prompt and courteous. Ten out of ten for check in and lobby staff. However, on our first day we arrived back at the hotel in the late afternoon to find that our room had not been cleaned and had to request service. Second day our room was completely overlooked. In spite of the fact that housekeeping was making up the room next door to ours when we left the hotel mid morning we returned in the evening to find that housekeeping never came. Didn’t ruin our stay but definitely disappointing.

I called to reserve our room months in advance, they said the room is reserved for the said dates. When arriving they then told me the double room I reserved was not available and I would get a single bed room and that they would send up a roll away bed. The roll away bed never showed up. We stayed 3 nights. When checking in they did not give us any directions to our room nor did they tell us what tower our room was located. Then to top it off they closed the pool for painting the second day we were there so we did not get to enjoy the pool during our stay. It was very disappointing that they would make the decision to close the pool when they had several kids staying there for the World Robotics competition. We will not be staying here the next time we visit Dallas.

We had a hole in the floor that was covered with carpet. $30 breakfast and the eggs where crusty the lights where broken homeless people where outside looked like a Hampton inn in the room not nice at all

We needed to stay only one night in Dallas in a trustable hotel. Total disaster thanks to Fairmont Dallas. We arrived at 5:45pm and our room was not ready. The reception lady was already with a bad attitude (I guess after dealing with other angry customers.. but hey not my problem!).. anyhow we got our room after 7pm. The room was ok, but sheets were stained and on of the pillows with a wet stain on it.. tiredness kill us before I could complain.

Good location for getting around the city on foot but… * no free guest wifi (in 2022, WHAAT?!); * a very bog standard, tired room (despite booking a double we were given a twin room) which was ‘barely there’ clean (no attention to detail - dusty corner and dirty ledges are a housekeepers shame); * the pool/ outside area was poorly equipped, sadly maintained, unwelcoming & provided no properly covered areas for sun relief; Ultimately there was zero ‘wow’ factor, none at all. Allowances were made because we appreciate things are still getting up to grade again post-pandemic but still….standards were not what we expected from a Fairmont. A shining light, Hollie was friendly & helpful on check in which was appreciated.

Upon registration, I was not recognized as a platinum member (which the lovely lady at reception fixed). as a result, and since the hotel was overbooked, I got an outdated room. moreover, the room was not properly cleaned as I found a used Q tip in the closet, and hair in the shower, I do want to commend the F&B manager who went above and beyond to make sure our breakfast experience was great.

Came here with my husband for his meeting. And I must say I loved my visit, there’s a lot to do in Dallas. The fairmont as a whole made my experience the best! The valet service was top notch from checkin to checkout they were always ready to help and they event recommended some places to go, that turned out to be great. Thank you valet for making stay best. We will definitely be back!
