My husband found this beautiful inn online. We were celebrating his birthday and what was planned as just a pleasant stop-over became one of the best stays we've had in awhile. We knocked on the door at our arrival and the most charming man opened the door to greet us. It was the owner, Wayne. He showed us around the... More

What a wonderful house, dating from 1909, with a VERY peaceful, stylish ambiance. Within 10 minutes of arriving and meeting, Wayne, the owner, I felt just like I do when I get home after a long trip. That is not an everyday experience for me and I am a lifelong traveller, currently living in my 11th country, Mexico, but the... More

I used to live in Dallas, and I had met someone who stayed at the inn before, so when I returned to Dallas for a one night visit, I chose the Daisy Polk Inn because it's in the Cedar Springs area, and very close to bars and restaurants, and the fun gay nightlife of Dallas. The summer sale price was... More

From the second we arrived we were extremely impressed. The Innkeeper Michael went far beyond the normal level of"Great Customer Service." He made sure everything was perfect for us and he is very knowledgeable in the history of Daisy Polk as well as things to do in the area. I couldn't ask for a better location as I was only... More

We enjoyed our stay at Daisy. Patrick and Wayne were very accommodating when we called ahead the day of check-in to see if we could bump our time up a bit, as we were on a road trip and would be arriving earlier than predicted. Patrick welcomed us warmly, gave us a little history of the house and showed us... More

The Daisy Polk Inn was one of the nicest properties I've stayed at in a very long time. The entire inn was beautifully decorated and the staff was simply fabulous. I stayed with my boyfriend and we had a peaceful visit. We drove up to the Daisy to find a sweet home with a large porch and pretty landscaping. We... More

We had two rooms in the main house. Great historical architectural and antique furniture - one bed was carved, 1857, from France with super-comfortable mattress. Chef Michael subbed for the owners when we arrived, and was hugely knowledgeable about the Inn and the area. He cooked a very tasty waffle breakfast with fresh blueberries, juices and coffee. He chatted on... More

We visited Dallas over the holiday season to visit a relative with a terminal illness as well as to celebrate my birthday in a small way. Dallas experienced tornados and other severe weather the evening we arrived, but the hosts, Patrick and Wayne, were gracious and accommodating despite our delayed and very late arrival. In fact, they put us in... More
