Hotel ZaZa Dallas garners praise for its spotlessly clean and spacious rooms, although a few guests mention that the decor could use an update and the soundproofing might be improved. The hotel's central location is a hit with travelers keen on exploring nearby dining, shopping, and attractions like the American Airlines Center. Guests consistently commend the exceptional service, highlighting the staff's professionalism and attentiveness. The eclectic atmosphere and unique charm, along with a host of amenities such as butler coffee service and a fitness center, contribute to the hotel's luxury appeal. While the hotel is considered to provide good value, some services may come with high fees.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel ZaZa Dallas while visiting my daughter. We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful hotel! The attention to detail as far as customer service stood out to me the most during our stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We checked in during the complimentary cocktail hour so we were greeted by offering of champagne/wine and some small bites. Our room was lovely--both very clean and spacious with a wonderful balcony overlooking Dallas. I felt like I was at home because of all the amenities provided. I especially liked having a lighted make up mirror in the bathroom and very plush robes provided for our stay. In the morning, it was so nice to walk down the hall where coffee/fruit was provided for me as well as tea for my husband. We did valet our car which was very efficient. When we requested our car, the attendants even gave us water bottles to have in the car--which was much needed in Texas even in November! In the evenings the hotel driver, Christian, was available to take us to nearby places. Christian was so friendly and accommodating for with all of our requests. On Sunday morning, when we were going to church, the hotel without question allowed us a late checkout so we did not have to clear the room before church and brunch afterwards. I truly was so appreciative of the level of customer service and the caring attitude of all the staff. I also love the fun vibe of the hotel- with all of the furnishings and art and even little jars of candy around. I would definitely recommend anyone giving this very unique and special hotel a try!

My family and I decided to take a weekend trip to Dallas for Father's day weekend. It also happened to be the same weekend as the NBA Finals so the hotel was very busy. We booked a room with a balcony and Carolina at the Front Desk graciously offered us a wonderful upgrade to one of their Bungalow suites to ensure that we received the type of room we had booked. We appreciated this kind gesture so much! The room is gorgeous and well appointed in terms of kitchen and bath amenities. The fridge was also well stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Our daughter loved the snack bar, and we did not feel like the items were too overpriced as the often are in hotels. Honestly, it felt like we were in an AirBnB but with room service and housekeeping, it was amazing! We had breakfast in the restaurant as well and the servers there are so lovely and attentive. Yasmin in particular was so thoughtful in making sure my daughter was happy with her hot chocolate and we were happy with our coffees. The valet here is also TOP NOTCH! Craig was so warm and welcoming and we appreciated that every time we asked for our car it would return to us with cold bottles of water. It's always the little things that differentiate a good hotel from an excellent one and this hotel is excellent! It has the location, ambiance, luxury amenities and incredible service. We highly recommend and look forward to returning again soon! Thank you all so much for the lovely hospitality.

Stayed for three nights in one of the bungalow suites. Really cool set up in the room and the fact that they are in separate townhouses behind the hotel was actually nice - if we had used the pool or gym, might have felt different.

All in all the hotel was really unique and we enjoyed our time. Staff at Dragonfly restaurant was very attentive and friendly and food was great.

Room and amenities were spot on and given that we stayed at 50% reduced rate that we found on the hotel’s own site, it was also good value. At full price, would call it expensive.

Worth noting that the doors and windows are typical US townhouse style ie very thin and do not provide much in either sound or climate isolation.

The location in uptown Dallas was great for restaurants and for the American Airlines Center

PROS: Valet service was great and the front desk was accommodating when I requested switching from a double room to single.
CONS: Waited 20 minutes for my bag to be brought to my room after checking in and a front desk agent ended up having to be the one to bring it up. I'd rather not have been offered that service if they were too busy or distracted. Very outdated rooms in terms of design. The bed was also rock solid and uncomfortable. You can hear people in the rooms next to you due to bad sound proofing. Basic cable TV. I've had better streaming options at hotels that cost way less. Was also unable to connect and stream from my device since they only offer SmartCast as the other option, but impossible to get it to properly work. The biggest downside to my stay was how I ordered room service from Dragonfly for dinner and was disappointed in the taste of the foods and drinks. Especially for the amount of convenience fees added. However, the waiter that delivered my meal was friendly and comped part of my order due to miscommunication on how one of the items is prepared. Their breakfast menu might have been a better option, but I wasn't willing to risk it for the same high fees again.

All hotel personnel were so helpful and responsive to anything you might need. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was outstanding with plenty of hot water and water pressure. We loved having the balcony overlooking the pool area and the morning coffee that was made available to guests on each floor. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We just spent three nights at Hotel Zara as a mini break for our anniversary. The best way I can describe the experience is uneven. We chose the hotel as a break from the usual and every review was effusive so I did want to take the time to write out what we liked and what was lacking.

The staff at the pool and valet were helpful and more importantly, genuinely friendly and seemed to like their jobs. The front desk check in staff seemed bored and helping us seemed like an imposition on their time. I had noted on our reservation that it was our anniversary and honestly I was embarrassed that I had as the guy at the front desk was rather snarky about it.

Turn down service was great (loved the moon pies, ice in the ice bucket, water by the bed) but we didn’t have our room serviced during our stay in spite of specifically requesting it the second day. They advertise a fully stocked bar. The minibar is definitely stocked (and the fridge overstocked) so perhaps that is what they mean. But we took that to mean glasses would be switched out and with no housekeeping, that did not happen (and of course no emptying of wastebaskets, no refill of shampoo/conditioner, etc.) On the other hand, room service was prompt and the trays disappeared without us having to ask or try to maneuver them out the door.

Our room (The Metropolitan) was gorgeous (and huge) but the sound proofing was awful. We could hear anyone that was at the elevators (and we assume they could hear us) and people in the room above us and beside us.

This was also more of a party hotel than we expected. Lots of birthdays and bachelorettes. Which meant there was noise outside our room most evenings, a welfare check early one morning by staff on the room next to us, the coffee and tea being cleaned out by 8am two days (and if there were the extras on our floor like snacks and Gatorade, they were swept up even earlier), and a pool with nowhere to sit on Saturday (though credit to the pool staff who did a great job of shifting people.) I think this is probably less of an issue other times of the year.

We did really enjoy the extra touches like candy at check in, cookies and cold water/lemonade in the afternoons (the chocolate marshmallow ones were amazing), the included driving service which took us to dinner, turndown service, popsicles at the pool, etc. And we probably would have been happier if we had stayed in a bungalow as people we met at the pool raved about how quiet and private they are. The location is also great with tons of restaurants and places near by. And the included valet and drivers service meant we didn’t have to deal with our car all weekend.

The site has lots of great packages (after tasting the drinks at the pool, we wished we had chosen the breakfast, cocktail one!) Be sure you join the loyalty program before booking as it gives a nice discount. The key card envelopes say something about an amenity for members. We didn’t receive one but from the spirit of the hotel I assume it is something fun. If you are traveling with friends or kids, the speciality rooms are next to each other (I assume on each floor.)

I travel all over Texas for business and am not too particular about the brand of hotel I stay at, unless I’m in Dallas. When I’m in Dallas, I choose to stay at the Zaza uptown for a few reasons.

The rooms are inviting, spacious and comfortable after a long day of travel and/or meetings. The staff is a cut above the rest when it comes to service and a friendly face to greet you, help with my luggage or even to park my car.

When I wake up at the Zaza in the morning, I don’t have to fumble around for my two allocated packs of coffee, which is never enough, and start brewing it myself on a cheap coffee maker. At the Zaza Dallas, there is a coffee station right down the hall by the elevators on each floor. The coffee is high quality, hot and the station is constantly attended to and never a mess.

When I get back after a long day, my room is always meticulously clean, fresh bottled water on my nightstand, and a late night snack next to it.

The only disappointment I’ve ever faced at the Zaza is finding that there is not a room available on the dates that I’be chosen to travel to Dallas. My usual solution is to reschedule my trip for a later date. That is the honest truth.

Thanks to the management and staff at the Zaza that make my stays in Dallas feel like home away from home.

The hotel is beautifully maintained and like any true Diva does not show her age. The service is exceptional, and the staff is efficient and customer-service oriented. You will notice your fellow guests are like-minded in their quest for quality. Only sweet dreams are possible at the incomparable ZaZa.

Hotel ZaZa is a great place to stay in Dallas, and is always my first choice when visiting the city. The rooms are great, but it's the service and its people that really make it my favorite hotel in Dallas.

The rooms are super comfortable, with enough space to spread out. The beds are also super comfortable, and I always get a great night's sleep. The bathrooms are also nice. There are little things in the rooms that make the experience even better, with some of the nicest sheets, towels, and pillows at any hotel I've stayed at.

It is in a great location in Uptown, and has a well- equipped gym and business center. During the summer, the pool is a nice place to hang out and have a few cocktails while disconnecting from the world. The hotel bar is a fun place to have an after work or pre-dinner drink, and they also have some great food (try the feta dip).

While the bones of the hotel are great, the thing that has really impressed me every time I have stayed here is the service and the hotel's people. The front desk staff is always very friendly and helpful with whatever you may need, the valet is always super quick to respond to requests/get your car, the bartenders are great, and the housekeeping staff makes sure that your room is spotless.

As an example of the great service at ZaZa, one recent stay, the air conditioning in my room was not working. Carolina at the front desk was very helpful and proactive in offering to let me move rooms, and she even upgraded me to a suite. Less than 5 minutes after letting the front desk know I had gathered my belongings and was ready to switch rooms, a bellman was there to help me move rooms. I was already very impressed with the service at my earlier, normal stays, but was even more impressed by the service when there was a relatively minor room hiccup.

Needless to say, this is a great place to stay in Dallas, and will always be my first choice.
