We have been to this hotel before and enjoyed our stay however this trip wasn't as pleasant. When we first arrived our room wasn't ready and they said "oh whoops it was cleaned they just didn't mark it clean, here's your key..." (confused faces) when we got to our room it was obvious it wasn't cleaned. When my husband asked they said "due to covid we only clean the rooms every three days to protect the staff"...um, what???? The problem I see is their Covid policy doesn't seem to make sense. They don't offer coffee downstairs to the public now and you have to purchase it for $3 a cup. Also, my husband went to ask for coffee one morning and nobody was around so he went to look where the coffee is and it was disgusting! Sticky coffee or hot chocolate residue was everywhere where it was obvious they didn't clean anything the night before. So we have to buy coffee, rooms aren't cleaned daily and the breakfast area isn't cleaned? - oh and the bar wasn't available either. I wish we had known that on in the confirmation email. Communication and cleanliness go a longggggggg way....especially during covid. But it was very quiet so that was nice :)

We were evacuating for a storm and this hotel had a great price and location. Angie was extremely kind and fun upon checking in and made our stay better. This hotel was lovely and had 2 swans in the lobby. The lobby is open with all the rooms facing in. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel if staying in the Dallas area.

From 7/26/20 until 7/29/20 my girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel many times dating back to the early 2000's and I must say this was absolutely horrendous. Upon checking in, I was informed that the hotel was not offering its usual made to order breakfasts or allowing guests to enjoy complimentary cocktails at the bar during the evening. However, they still managed to charge us over $100.00 per night plus an over night parking fee to park in their lot which was NOT access controlled. Check in went relatively well except that the front desk clerk never asked if I was a Hilton Honors Member and guests were allowed to freely stroll through the lobby without a facial covering even though their website clearly states that all such people must wear one. However, the lone bright spot was that I did witness the cleaning staff working very hard to sanitize both the rooms and the lobby. Yet , never did I see a sticker on any door designating a room as being "CleanSafe" as the Hilton Company is saying is standard. We did experience a problem which was virtually ignored by the hotel management. On the 2nd night of our stay, the flushing handle of our toilet broke requiring me to lift off the toilet tank lid and with my bare hand pull the chain to lift the flapper to flush the toilet! Upon calling the front desk, I was told that the maintenance man would not be available until 9 am and she said that "there is nothing I can do for you" and therefor I was on my own until the maintenance man arrived. There was NO offer to move us to another room, NO offer to provide us with a vacant room's toilet, or even to bring Me some rubber gloves to use when I was having to manually flush the broken TOILET! Finally, at approximately 9:45 AM a man wearing a grey T- shirt, grey shorts, NO Name Tag and NO Facial Covering knocked at our door holding a replacement toilet handle. Luckily, I was wearing MY facial covering; I allowed him in and he repaired the toilet in less than 5 minutes. After he left, I immediately went to the front desk to request compensation for myself and my girlfriend's toilet failure, the clerk( the same female who had checked us in when we arrived) told me that the Asst. Manager "Brian" would call me on either my cell phone or hotel room phone to discuss the matter. I have Yet to receive such a phone call from "Brian"( posting of this review 8/4/2020

If you are a person looking for a place whenever you are away from home and are looking for a warm shower and a cool room, you will NOT fine it here. Please, please, please heed the eariler reviews of this place and do not book your reservations here. We booked because on the website it looked like a fair price and was close to the Galleria. BIG MISTAKE! There was no hot water in the shower. I waited and waited and it never even got warm. The air conditionning only blew warm air around. It never got cold or comfortable. Maybe they expect the cold shower to keep you cool in the room. The lobby is fun with a couple of swans swimming around, but other than that avoid this place if you can. It is not worth your time or money to consider this place. Not the Embassy quality I am used to or expect.

I understand many thngs have changed because of Covid, but it would be nice if the web sites reflected the changes made. This hotel is nice, very quiet, and clean. We love Embassy Suites not only for nice rooms, but above average manager's receptions and hot breakfast. Even though the web site for this Embassy stated both were part of the package, neither reception or breakfast was. You can get grab and go breakfast, with room temperature o.j. (yeech) a tiny muffin and tiny granola bar, but no reception. Speaking of reception, the TV picture was on/off quite a bit, giving us a message "gathering data." Maid service not offered during a stay of two or three nights, due to the virus. If you stay more than one night, you will have to ask at desk for extra coffee, which they will politely provide, but no coffee comes with the breakfast. All in all, a really nice hotel, but it would be nice if the web site reflect the actual policies.
