Guests smoking marijuana in the parking garage was our greeting on 12/24 upon our return to the hotel after Christmas Eve dinner. We felt unsafe as we had to walk from our car to the elevator. During our first morning here (12/25), we overheard what sounded like a fight and things being thrown in a nearby unit. We later woke up again, this time to kids banging on walls and screaming. The guest services manager did the best she could to relocate us to a better room that took two attempts. In short, do not stay here. This is not a family friendly, safe, or comfortable place for decent couples and families. if you smoke marijuana, don't care about others' children or experiences, then you found your place. What is next? The last day of our stay featured the following: a. a woman dry humping a man on an elevator, both of who were belligerent and did not realize they had missed their floor. We witnessed this as the elevator arrived on our floor (23rd) as we were leaving to a family dinner. Disgusting. If you have kids, what do you tell them after they see this? b. Once we catch another elevator, this time to the parking garage, we are greeted by the fine smell of marijuana. Deeply permeating in the elevator and obviously disgusting. I called the Omni and requested to speak with a general manager, since I felt this elevator should be cleaned and aired out. Instead the phone representative was surprised it was not caught during the "hourly" check and let me know someone would work on it. No update since then. c. The same night (12/26) we returned to the hotel and in the elevator up to the room we were greeted with a marijuana odor again. Different elevator, same disgusting scent. Omni Management: Patrol and monitor your parking garage. On 12/24 the marijuana smell in the parking garage came from 3 distinct vehicles in the garage that were on and stationary. The odor was obvious and your poor company culture failed to protect the guest experience for guests like us. COVID Comments: multiple elevators smelled, handprints not cleaned, and multiple guests observed without a mask. No manager/oversight effort witnessed either.…
I flew to Dallas for a business trip. I arrived early and went to the hotel to see if I could go ahead and check in to leave my bags. They were able to check me in at 9:30 am with no issues. The lady at the front desk was very nice and the vallet staff were beyond helpful. The hotel is very clean and there is plenty of room for social distancing. I didn’t see any other guests in the lobby or hallways my 2 days there. I did go have dinner at the sports bar and saw maybe 5 couples there. The food was great and service was friendly. It will be nice when everything is open back up fully. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was impressed with it all. Beds were comfortable and had no issues with noise. I would definitely stay here again.
the view was very nice but the beds were so uncomfortable and also the room had no microwave in the room, and the bar they have downstairs had 20 min till closing, so my husband and I wanted just one drink after the 2hour drive we ha, and the guy said he wasn't serving anymore.
Definitely a five star hotel with convenient location. Good restaurants inside. We have stayed here now three times for a total of 12 nights and all have been of top quality. Mr O’Day has been very friendly and provided us with good friendly service. All other staff also friendly and helpful. Check in and out easy with no issues. Room on 23 floor very clean, sanitized and comfortable. Beautiful view of the city. Safe in room, night light on floor for easy night trip to bathroom. Plenty of hangers in closet. Bathroom had a nice easy walk-in shower. Charge for WiFi, valet parking or self park both with a charge.
Loved this hotel! Came down from Wichita with my daughter to meet my best friend in Dallas which was the halfway point between she and I. We booked this hotel through hotwire so we got a considerably good deal. The valet were amazing, they would run to the door to open it anytime someone was approaching and it never took more than 2-3 minutes to get our vehicle. They also were unphased when we had them retrieve one car about 5 times in one day. The pool was my favorite part, we spent most of the weekend there. The two drawbacks of the stay were the music at the pool was too quiet (which we remedied with a speaker of our own) and the food/drink at the pool were limited and expensive - we spent about $400. The room was nothing exciting but it was large, clean, and had everything we needed. No complaints there! Will likely return to this hotel next summer. Due to COVID-19, the pool capacity was limited so as long as restrictions are still in place, definitely show up early.…
