We spent 4 nights for a wedding held in Dallas. This is our second time staying here and per usual, Omni Dallas did not disappoint. The location was in close proximity to many sights. Our room was on the 17th floor and had a beautiful view of the city. The room itself was updated. The rooms appeared well cleaned. This is qyite important to us post-covid. For those those that plan to stay here and have kids, the pool vibe is not family-oriented although families are very welcomed. At least that was the case while we were there. I would not count this against the hotel as it is so fabulous I could see hanging out here as on a girls weekend.
How y’all got a tv in the bathroom but no microwave? I gotta purchase that to just like the WiFi? Man, I woulda had better luck staying at a motel:’( Those outdoor doors be hitting different, haha. Crazy.
A classy hotel for sure, but the pool is party central. If a lively, crowded pool (and hot tub) with lots of booze and drunk folks yelling, partying and getting romantic if the sort of thing you like, you will like this. It was elbow-to-elbow and a great people-watching experience, but not at all relaxing if you are not planning to party. The pool bar is great and the staff were friendly, there is also an outdoor grill with several food options. Didn't seem to matter what part of day you went, at least in the summer, it was always the party central. Some parent didn't seem to appreciate it. Just be aware if you bring the kiddos, you may not have as much space as you might at a Choice Hotel or Holiday Inn. These rowdy folks are also often noisy in the hallways at night. Front Desk says to call them but the issue would be over when they arrive. Definitely would if there was a long-lasting issue, I do feel they would resolve it. Coffee pods in the room were nice, but only two and one decaf. If you need more just call, fast service to get more. TV in the bathroom mirror (on some rooms) is very cool. Ice bucket is actually insulated, and you will still have ice in the morning (that never happens!). Beds comfy, pillows soft but flat. TV was big, giant windows were amazing as was the view. Get an upper floor for a great skyline at night. Staff running valet and room service do expect tips, so have some cash. Also, for valet you will need two tips, one for the driver and one for the person assisting with your luggage. The hotel was very fancy, the staff friendly and dining options (and room service) was done well. Maybe go in off-season for a more relaxing pool experience and less noisy residents in the halls?…
Great staff, rooms and Starbucks downstairs is a bonus. I didn’t have a great experience at Bob’s but the rest of the hotel was great. While elevators are quick, you have to insert your key- instead of swipe- each time. Push the close doors button to override the long wait. Spa also was good.
From the moment we pulled in the service was amazing. I can’t say enough about the valet. He always had a smile on his face and always opened my door. He was a wealth of information when we asked about places to go. The location of this hotel is perfect, it is in walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The rooms are beautiful and our view of the city was amazing. The TV in the bathroom mirror was the icing on the cake!
